Tools, Empowerment, and Self-healing

A long time ago, I wrote a blog about the irrational fear people have regarding the Ouija board and other tools people can use for growth and understanding. There are many things we can use to help educate ourselves about the sciences of the seen and unseen.

However, as I was taught, it's not just the tool but what the person does with it.

For instance, a vehicle is a good tool to take us places, but carelessly used it can cause death and destruction. A gun can be used to kill or save a life. A hammer can help build a house but it can be used as a weapon. We have books and computers that we use to gain knowledge on many subjects. Do we fear an inanimate object or what a person does with it? Do we fear knowledge?

In other words, we can send people into space but we also know how to build a bomb.

If we didn't have truth seekers, using various means to advance our education, we'd still be cave dwellers. Yes, there are some who abuse and misuse knowledge, but we shouldn't punish the ones who want to reach beyond our current awareness using whatever tools God sends us to help in that advancement.

Look at how Jesus was crucified, based on the Bible's teachings of that current religious and science standards, for thinking outside the box. So, before we judge someone for what tool they're using to help us advance our civilizations, make sure we understand what it's purpose truly is.

Jesus understood healing. Can you image where we would be today if we all knew how Jesus healed people? Jesus understood telepathy? He talked to God. Jesus could create something out of nothing. He was teaching his disciples. Jesus was also a tool. But, he was crucified for going against tradition.

He wasn't here to just be our savior but to teach us empowerment. Remember, we don't worship tools. We use them to empower ourselves. To build a better life... a better world. To seek out even better tools. Any judging from God will be based on what we do with that empowerment... not the tool... but by our intent.

Maybe it was meant to be that we didn't learn about self-healing. Or, maybe others have been sent but we keep ignoring them, because we're stuck in the past.

Think about it.
