I Have Rights!

Obviously, some people have no clue what a “right” is in a free country. You have the right to everything you can do and provide for yourself, without encroaching on someone else’s rights.

We have the right to freedom of speech. This does not give anyone the right to limit someone else's freedom of speech, because we may disagree with what they are saying or writing. We have a right to accuse someone of a wrong, but we cannot deny their right to self-defense. We have a right to religious freedom, but not a right to force any religion or belief system onto another. We have a right to vote but we're not forced to vote. We have a right to education, but are not required to use public education. People have a right to their identity, but they have no right to force their identity onto others. We have the right to seek healthcare, but we have no explicit right to receive it (or any other thing of value) from another person, regardless of the services provided. Another person's skill cannot be a right.

Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness are rights. Housing, legal representation, and healthcare cannot be a right because it requires another person to produce it. What happens when those who we've decided to burden with our right decide to stop providing their service and do something else? What if those who stay, to provide you with your right, are new or terrible at their jobs and you get poor treatment? Do you want a public defender, or do you want the right to pay for a decent defense lawyer, if you're charged with a serious crime?

We have a right to seek out the goods and services from trades. We have a right to reasonably regulate said goods and services, just as we have a right to refuse them. But, we don't have a right to force said trades to provide any services. Think not? Go to a plumber, electrician, or mechanic and demand they provide you service, because it's your right. What happened to their right of refusal? Even with public services, they too have rights... they're not slave labor.

Yes, we even have a right to decline health insurance, but it's not anyone's right to force another to pay for it or their bill because they choose not to be responsible. I said choose, because there are those who feel they have a right to be irresponsible. Of course, this is not the same as any medical or mental hardship cases that our social services already cover. There are exceptions. Also, this isn't saying we don't have a right to refuse payment for bad services. No one should feel it's a right to steal from another. Which is why we have a right to seek legal counsel.

Medicare for all? I'm retired and now have Medicare. I've paid into it for many, many years, since I started working, but I still have to make monthly premiums. As it stands, it's not perfect. So far, I have a right to pay for a supplement in order to have better coverage. What right does anyone have to force me to give that up in order to belong to a single payer system? Just because some want to sign over their rights to a government healthcare, doesn’t mean others want to. Especially, one that has a proven track record of corruption and mismanagement of funds.

Which is why our President insured that our veterans get faster healthcare by going outside the VA's sluggish system. Systems and structures produce outcomes, and those systems and structures are built through consent and perpetuated by incentives. Checks and balances are vital for positive outcomes.

And some say, what about moral rights? Yes, what about it? What if some believe it's a moral right to euthanize all terminally ill humans as we do animals? What if a law is made because of it? What if others feel their rights are being usurped because of it? How far do we go using morals as a reason? Does any government have a right to constantly regulate something onto others due to morals?

Governments are not flawless. Stop giving your power away to them. Stop denying options to others just because you feel the need to control every situation for yourself or others. Do we really want - "it's my way or the highway"? Little to no options? Robbing Peter to pay Paul? What happens if we have a government shutdown on medical care because they can't afford to pay for services and supplies, or innovative technology, due to extreme government debt or wasteful spending? Where's my right for a backup system to prevent that? What right does anyone have to deny that? If people really believed the government was capable of handling all our issues, why do we have numerous foundations or charitable organizations, among other things, to assist humanity?

Lastly, and most importantly, we may want to keep in mind that we could be sacrificing rights by giving our power away to one entity or, as I mentioned above, to what another claims as a moral right.

The Bitter Truth

It's human nature (ego) for people to only see what they want to believe no matter what facts are presented. They don't want facts, they want their feelings placated. I know this because I learned it, bitterly, first hand.

Many, many years ago, I was being, intuitively, told (sensing something was not right) that there was something bad going on in my life, but I didn't want to believe it. I kept pushing it out of my mind. Then facts presented itself and I still didn't want to believe it. Why? Because I was raised to believe in the good of people. And "good" people didn't deliberately hurt others.

But "good and bad" depends on one's perspective - one's belief - one's cultural awareness. That, which I was ignoring, was a truth I didn't want to know. I wanted to reject it because I knew it would hurt me. As my dad used to say, sometimes the truth can hurt. It's what others have called the bitter truth.

Since then, I've learned to follow my gut feelings. When I sense doubt, I, instinctively, back off in order to investigate my feelings. Is "someone" trying to tell me there's a new truth that needs to be understood?

Because, I've learned - and have taught - that there is only one truth in the universe to follow and that's God's truth - God's wisdom. If you really want the truth, you'll get it. Even if you don't like it. And for anyone who considers themselves an atheist, use "ultimate truth" instead. The objective is seeking truth, even if we don't like the answer.

In addition, I've also learned (and taught) not to be hasty in judging as truth can change. So, every minute of every day, we should never assume that things are the same. Just as the weather can change, so can human nature. And just because we don't like it, doesn't change the truth. And just because we want to placate our egos with "our truth" there's still God's (ultimate) truth to contend with.

Like it or not. Hurtful or not. Bitter or not.

Disney and Rethinking Fat

I found this article (link below) about who decided it was bad to be fat. It had me thinking about the things I've learned, regarding people's weight, throughout history and in various cultures. I understand that many ideas change over time, due to more knowledge, but when I was younger, I remember so many people who were overweight and I never heard any negativity about it... until around my mid-teen years. Then I became more aware of the body shaming, jokes, or cautious health warnings, which became part of our Western culture. Before then, being a Navy brat, traveling to various places and seeing various sizes of people was just part of life.

In fact, I remember a lot of famous overweight people from my youth. For instance, Hoss from Bonanza, Jackie Gleason, Oliver Hardy, Raymond Burr, the opera singer Beverly Sills, or singers like Mama Cass and Kate Smith. Or, even cartoon characters like Fred Flintstone and Pete (Mickey Mouse), as well as historical people of royalty, like King Henry VIII or some of the Hawaiian Queens and Kings. And, of course, there are Peter Paul Ruben's famous paintings, which include his very "full-figured" women. I also had numerous family and friends, of various ages, who were overweight. I even remember talking about "starving actors" putting on some weight after they were on a television series for a few years... they were, obviously, eating better.

As you can see, being overweight isn't a current culture phenomenon, as some Internet sites are indicating. Throughout history, various sizes of overweight people have existed everywhere and in every culture. Maybe we're noticing things more because there are more people on this planet and the Internet has made our world much smaller. But, even before the Internet, I started hearing about people being overweight, or underweight, as unhealthy. I've since learned that this isn't always the case. That's the thing about science, facts can change. An overweight person doesn't mean an unhealthy person. Besides, that's between them and their physicians.

Of course, I don't agree with certain cultures promoting obesity, but I understand they thought it was important. I read about people, around the world, who considered their women being fat was a sign of wealth. They fattened them up on purpose. There was no stigma either. Even in China, fat signified good fortune and wealth... hence the chubby and happy Buddha.

Also, there was the Disney movie, Wall-E, that gave us a little warning on how the path of least resistance, and living the good life, can lead to being overweight. But, what was nice, even though it had a subliminal message of unhealthy living, I don't recall fat shaming. Of course, why would Disney do that anyway? They would understand that it's not just culture programing that's involved. Being overweight can also come about for many reasons. And, after all, besides Pete, they have created many, many fat characters.

Hmmm... maybe all those various Disney characters was another subliminal message. If so, than thank you Disney for reminding us that humanity is not homogenized, regardless of culture, regardless of being rich or poor, and that we each have our attributes no matter what size or shape.

Avenger Syndrome

I've been around long enough to know that many things can influence and possess our thinking. Most learn not to absorb extreme negative influences, but not everyone. There are some who don't have that mental filtering and those are the ones that can be easily manipulated. They can often be the immature or mentally ill, not just those on mind altering substances.

I started thinking about this after watching a movie that had graphic violence. It was about a man on a mission of revenge for an injustice that occurred to his family. That's when it struck me that there are movies being made that glorify the main movie character who feels he/she has been pushed too far and decides to fight back - even if murder and mayhem is involved. In our minds, these movies make people heroes/heroines. We applaud their decision. We even fight, emotionally, with their cause. We don't care about the other side, because, after all, they're the enemy.

However, along comes real life people who may see a ton of these movies, may not have any moral beliefs of right and wrong, have no foundation of reality and believe they can live out any fantasy they want. They have no fears, lack empathy, and may feel they too have been pushed to the point where they need to get justice over a perceived wrong. They psych themselves into believing they could be a hero/heroine by fighting for their cause.

In their fight for justice, they may feel they will be vindicated in martyrdom. They decide to fight back. They create mayhem and murder. But, instead of being glorified, they are vilified. They are killed or imprisoned. You see, to an unbalanced mind, these types of movies, etc., may be what indoctrinates and desensitizes them. To them, they see that chaos needs order and they may see themselves as the righteous chosen... the avenger. What I term the Avenger Syndrome.

I feel that this is what we've been seeing, for many years, with some serial killers or mass murderers. Yes, we've had similar things occur throughout history, of people wanting retribution at all cost, without today's influences, but they still had something that influenced them - something that pushed them over the edge - something that made them feel they had to be an avenger. But now, it's as if, in their unbalanced mind, they've been handed a justifiable reason on a silver platter: "well, it was okay to do it in the movies."

Of course, this may be only one issue with those we deem mentally ill - perceived avengers who commit horrendous crimes - but how do we ever move beyond it? I know that finger pointing doesn't help, especially when we're all to blame to some degree. After all, what can we expect when a society constantly promotes us to be or do whatever we want, with some stretching that idea to infinity and beyond? Yes, some think that means anything - without repercussions.

I've also learned that denying other's rights, catering to a small few, isn't a positive path to take either. Which is why I believe this will continue unless we really start listening to their grievances and working with them, taking their fears seriously, and removing any harmful programming. For instance, "no you cannot be an avenger and murder people, there are serious consequences!"

Of course, extreme steps to take would be locking them away so they cannot harm themselves or others. History shows that didn't always bode well either, but desperate times may call for desperate measures.

What Ifs: Genealogy, History, Genetics, Inbreeding and Sexual Anomalies?

I've been reading a lot of various topics about genetic anomalies and decided to put some things together that I've been mulling over. However, I want to emphasize that the things I mention below are not limited to any particular class or race, it's just a few examples I'm using, based on research, that had me scratching my head and wondering what if.

First, through my genealogy research, I started, inadvertently, learning about history and genetics. I discovered that past royalty inbreeding or limited spouse availability, in earlier times, caused various genetic anomalies... some were often fatal... and these genes can show up down the line.

Then, after reading about Queen Christina of Sweden being considered an intersex (formerly known as hermaphrodite) person, along with some thinking that the first Queen Elizabeth may have had male pseudohermaphroditism, I started wondering, what if inbreeding may have contributed to intersex people? Why not? Anything's possible. Right?

I first heard about inbreeding through a 1966 movie called Hawaii. It had early 1800 missionaries explaining that siblings marrying, having sex, and murdering their deformed babies was a sin. To the Hawaiians, it was all normal. But afterwards, I began to learn that, since ancient times and with many civilizations, it was considered quite normal for royal siblings to marry and have children, including disposing of any which may have been seriously deformed.

I guess they didn't know how to put two and two together, back then. However, time has shown us that there is definitely good science behind the laws that prohibit siblings from having children. The risk for passing down a genetic disease is much higher than with first cousins.

As I continued researching, I read something about a Native American acceptance of a certain anomaly and wondered why. Was it done for a deeper meaning? For instance, what if newly instilled religious morals protected deformed babies from being murdered and then special names were created, for the afflicted, as compensation... to justify their deformities... a gift from God, so to speak.

For example, the East India girl with four arms and legs being called a goddess instead of a conjoined twin. Or, in the case of Diodorus Siculus (1st Century BCE) who described Hermaphroditus as having a physical body of a man and woman and who was able to foretell future events. Again, special names and talents... as a gift from God... or stories created due to genetic anomalies?

The reason I started wondering about this was because I discovered, while researching transgenders, that there are various culture names, which are used for people having confused genders (like "two spirit"), that have been around for eons. I wondered if it was possible that they may have had some form of deformed genitals or genetic anomaly, in the past, but murder wasn't an option and corrective surgery wasn't either. So, names were created to make them feel special... instead of an outcast in their small villages, tribes or communities.

Also, I read that some of these past royal's "noticeable deformities" may have been overemphasized. It seemed plausible to me. Isn't that how some myths begin? A little bit of fact mixed with a lot of creative writing. But, what if some anomalies weren't physically noticeable? With all that inbreeding, could some have had sexual abnormalities, like an intersex person? Possibly kept a secret for any number of reasons. It may explain why some couldn't have children, which may be a blessing in disguise... removing bad blood.

Yet, what if some royal children weren't from inbreeding and were actually produced via secret affairs and surrogates, in order for someone who was intersex to appear normal to the public or to produce normal children? After all, we know eons of deceit and hanky-panky ran rampant with some royalty, too. Maybe this too could have been a blessing in disguise... new blood.

Anyway, this is only some of my what ifs. Hopefully, you can see why I was having them. I felt it was interesting enough to share, because I'm one who seeks answers in order to remove fears and prejudices. I just think it's amazing the things one discovers, and the questions that are provoked, because of genealogy questions, which often lead to various paths of research, like history and genetics.

Gender Dysphoria?

I know this can be a very touchy subject with some people, but we are in an age where the saying "be yourself" has some taking that ideology to extremes. Maybe they have forgotten another saying: just because you can, doesn't mean you should. This is why I decided to share some things I've been mulling over regarding gender dysphoria.

But first, this isn't to create any emotional meltdown. My reflections are only what I've been discerning/sensing for some time. I'm not being judgemental, but I do question and reason. Maybe more than I should. But, I only want to have answers to questions for my peace of mind, even if those answers could be metaphysical. It's up to others to find their answers... their peace. Could what I have discovered help? It helped me. Will it change anyone's mind? Only time will tell.

Anyway, I'm sure there's a lot to consider when it comes to someone's feelings, which oppose their physical biology. I've often questioned: is it really their feelings or are they being mind controlled, indoctrinated, or influenced, and, if so, by who and why? Because, I'm not too keen on people being used in any scientific experiment, especially when making extreme changes to their body in order to appease feelings. That's when I start asking questions. Something's not adding up.

What makes a person feel they're the opposite of what they were physically born with and want such a drastic plastic surgery operation? After all, it's not some miner physical enhancement, it's a major sexual or physical alteration. And, gender dysphoria should never be treated lightly, especially by parents, family or friends acting like wannabe psychologists. There is a high rate of suicide involved, especially among teens. Regret after surgery is also occurring. Many, many questions need to be asked by professionals to anyone experiencing any gender identity issues, especially before making major surgical decisions.

To continue, and please bare with me, because this may be far out for some. Maybe one answer to these "feelings" is outside the physical. Recently, someone read about androgynous extraterrestrial beings and asked if they could have an affect on us, due to their soul energy, if they incarnated into a human. I said, absolutely, why not? It would be no different than a soul with a lot of male energy crossing over into a female body, or vice versa, which can create imbalance with a current life's mind. Maybe they didn't know enough to have some sort of help or they just decided to wing it. However, I feel it's become more of an out of control free for all, lately... a mental/physical war.

Let me explain why I feel this way. Years ago, one of my metaphysical teachers taught me that the general understanding, eons ago, was to honor the physical being when incarnating into a new life. But as time went by, some had "crossed wires" with their soul emotions and physical forms. This confused them with their body, mind and soul connections: males acting feminine and vice versa. This, I was told, led to feelings of hurt and revenge when they started being harassed by others (as they still do today), leading to retaliation and self-destruction.

As I told someone before, it's obvious to me that these people's souls are in conflict with their mind and body. We're all being bombarded by emotional energy daily and many are taking a beating over it. Instead of healing the mind, as we once have, we're accepting it at the cost of extreme body modifications (on what doctors would consider an average healthy body), along with the pain and suffering of that too.

Of course, this line of reasoning is only about past life soul emotions causing current conflicts. I understand there are other things that can influence current behaviors. For instance, sexual and physical abuse, as a child and/or adult, along with those whys and wherefores. Some professionals are saying that it could even be the new culture influence of those rebelling against social constructs, which may also explain the rise in this area. But, regardless of the cause, when a person has gender dysphoria, or any form of dysphoria, they need professional counseling and not coddling or enabling from well-meaning or other dysphoric people.

Which is why it's important for many questions to be asked by professionals. There are way too many various influences that can affect one's thoughts and emotions to do anything less. And, I know this is my opinion, but maybe the professionals should, seriously, seek and consider metaphysical answers too... things beyond the physical that may be affecting the physical. Because, also in my opinion, there are people who hastily, and often regrettably, jump on the proverbial bandwagon without deeper analysis to what may be really going on.

My Life: Perspective - Realty

A long time ago, I had someone tell me that they were glad I shared so many various things about my life. I replied: Thanks, I have a purpose in doing that. After all, if you had an extraterrestrial contact, learned telepathy, and saw a UFO, you might want to tell people about it, but at the same time prove your sanity.

And, I had an employer giving me some great advice back in the 80s. He told me that verbal doesn't cover your butt, put it in writing. For this reason, I decided to document and share some of my life's memories via various social media sites, and my true story books, for anyone interested. Additionally, I had a metaphysical teacher explain that by not sharing my worth, due to being in fear of people judging me, it would be me judging them instead. Hmmm...

Of course, you may ask: why bother proving anything? You see, I understand perspective. For instance, if someone only knew me during my youth or school days, or only through the eyes of my family and friends... if someone only knew me through one of my many occupations or through my various hobbies... if someone only knew me during my Navy or Business and Professional Women days... and yes, if someone only knew me through my metaphysical teachings, being contacted by an otherworldly metaphysical teacher, seeing a UFO, or my telekinetic attacks... that would be, in my opinion, a very limited perspective of my life.

However, if they understood my complete life's journey, they would have an enhanced perspective. My reality may become their reality... with less judgments or assumptions. Of course, no guarantees, people may still judge me, regardless, and people may still get a different perspective of my memories. It happens.

But, my hope that people may care to know more has been positively confirmed, because I've had people say: "Wow, I never knew that! You've had quite an interesting life. Thanks for sharing." This is why I will continue to share my perspective/reality of my journey and what I feel was/is important to me. So far, its been based on my strongest memories, often backed up with photos, dates, and places, or any other documentation that I can provide. Because, sadly, I also know how history can be written or rewritten with limited or deliberate false interpretations, and it appears to be getting worse.

In addition, another reason that I decided to share some of my life's experiences or memories, besides proving my sanity, is because of my research on historical past lives. I discovered how past false or bias perceptions can often create a debilitating effect on one's current life... some people can hold grudges for a very, very long time.

So, as you can see, based on all the aforementioned, there is a method to my madness. Hopefully, it will prevent being maligned over another's perspective. I say "hopefully" because I know that you can lead humans to knowledge, but you can't make them think... or believe.

Collective "Truth" That Isn't

Sometimes, I feel our planet is living in the story of the Emperor's New Clothes. If you haven't read it, you should. It teaches a very serious lesson about pride, vanity, and self-deception. It's about an entire kingdom that ignores the self-evident for fear of judgment.

This is what I see with some people trying to convince us that certain behavior is acceptable when deep down inside we know it lacks moral character or promotes mental issues. They may use things like passive aggressiveness, subtle brow-beating, name calling, and guilt-tripping. They want us to see what they see, or do what they do, so they can ease their conscience. Our heart says no, but many lack the courage to speak out.

In this story, people were convinced that the Emperor's fabric was so fine that it was invisible to stupid people. Not wanting to be considered stupid, the kingdom allowed themselves to be duped by this power of suggestion. It took the innocence and honesty of a child to call them out on it; one who saw the king was naked and didn't fear saying so.

This is what I've been seeing with the PC mentality that's escalated over the years. It is very controlling people telling others not to be judgmental in order to scam, swindle, or convince us that their fantasy is factual. Learn from the moral of this fable. Don't let fear get in the way of challenging anyone, including corrupt authorities, who promote a collective "truth" that isn't.

Internet Battles: Calm the Mind

There's plenty of opinionated, social-media, rhetoric, especially when it's political, which is stirring up a lot of vitriol. Some have noted that it's creating feelings of unrest worldwide. Here's a little advice to hopefully calm the mind.

With any particular fervor, it would be prudent to take statements lightly. Do your own research. Know the facts/truth. Don't be a puppet. Don't be too fast to assume. Try not to be a hearsayer. Be part of the solution, not the problem.

For instance, when it comes to politics, and their media supporters, we know there can be errs, and they can often err deliberately and deceitfully. Sometimes, politicians have selective or faulty memory, but, hopefully, there will be plenty of areas to fact-check outside of bias media.

Avoid the temptation of sharing anything dishonestly mean and hateful. It may escalate this hostile energy being felt by all, as well as create a vindictive retaliation. If you share what you feel is the truth, hurt feelings are their responsibility. Also, avoid the pitfall of placing oneself on a self-indulgent pedestal, which may prevent conversing in a civilized manner. Deliberating seeking to persecute, torment, or intimidate may undermine believability.

Learn to sense those who are being, intentionally, offensive or provocative, don't take the bait... ignore them. And, if you can sense someone baiting you, than you should also be able to sense when someone is giving educated information. Use your sixth sense wisely. Use your freedom of speech wisely.

Lastly, ask yourself, often, if these internet battles are really worth the stress... worth your time? If so, a calm mind can often think more clearly. However, with current enforcement of certain social media rules, on removing accounts they deem as hateful, this may be a moot point.

Although, being calm, especially within a storm, is an accomplishment one should still aim to acquire.

Morals

I was listening to this gentleman on TV about certain people lacking morals. He was referring to people entering countries illegally and all the countries involved, including us, who allow it.

A definition of morals is a person's standards of behavior or beliefs concerning what is and is not acceptable for them to do. It's principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behavior.

No one can tell me that we, depending on certain situations, don't have this within us all. Let me tell you why I feel this way with a little personal story. When I was younger, we had a rabbit that was innocently fed some poisonous flowers by one of my younger siblings. The rabbit died.

Here's were morals/morality comes into play. Knowing this was done, albeit innocently, taught us all a lesson: you don't feed any creature anything you want, because to do so could be harmful. However, knowing this, and still continuing to do so, is showing a lack of morals, virtue, integrity, decency, a code of conduct, or any name you wish to use to let you know you're doing something nafarious, whether it's through a lesson learned directly or indirectly. In some cases, it's even considered evil.

One would have to ask why someone is, continually, choosing a path they know in their heart is wrong, that can be, intentionally, harmful to another or others, unless there is a lack of morals. Breaking into another's country is just as immoral as breaking into another's home. It's iniquitous behavior and those who promote it are just as unscrupulous.

In other words, morals protect us and others from doing anything we want just because we feel like it.

ANGER

We all get angry, occasionally, we're only human. Anger, not to be confused with passion or drive, can occur when triggered with feelings of being threatened, frustrated, powerless, and, as Yoda told us, even fear. However, learning to channel anger into a positive direction can be a better strategy, because anger only begets more of the same.

One of the best ways to conquer anger is through education. Educated people tend to use a mediator, or court system, to fight their battles - whenever possible - leaving no body scars and, hopefully, less stress. If we don't like the outcome, we have the option of taking it to a higher court, or develop the attitude of better luck next time. Besides, knowledgeable people shouldn't have to fight (unless it's in self-defense of themselves or loved ones), because they know how to reason and compromise.

But, we need to be reasoning with reasonable people for that to work. We have all types of people on this planet and not all are aware about self control, or better ways of communicating, no matter where they live. They are in that life-force that thinks the only way to win a battle is arm to arm combat - so to speak - butting heads like rams, etc. They are, generally, people who want to blow things up or have someone else do it for them. That's their ability to reason.

As a final point, when we become more metaphysically aware, we learn that being in constant anger and hate may only hurt us more than our perceived enemy. Because, we will be sick and die due to the stress we have allowed to our bodies and minds. Remember, knowledge is power too, not just brute force. But, if force is necessary, may the force be with you. 😉

Saving The World?

I often wonder if being too caring leads to controlling. Maybe that's why we get into wars, because we may be seen as interfering instead of helping. I don't mean never help; there are times of crisis and we should do all we can, and we have. I mean this attitude that many have that they need to save the world, yet it's crippling some because of it.

Now and then, I think about this African woman, I watched on a video, who was yelling for America to stop helping Africa so much as it was making them weak. That they needed to learn to be more self sufficient. There are people who have research financial aid given to countries and say this is true. It has often crippled their economy.

And then, there are commercials, which are created to tug at our heart strings, telling us to help those less fortunate. But are they? Do they want our help? Do they think they need help? Or is it to feed into another's fantasy instead? Possibly a money making scheme? Because we all know there's good and bad in everything.

Sometimes, I feel it's the haves projecting way too much onto the have nots. The philanthropists needing to save people. But, and I mean this seriously, do we have that right? Unless someone asks for help, do we have a right to change their way of life? Especially if their way of life isn't looked on by them as poor or deprived? It's just their way of life. They don't know any better. We implant that feeling onto them that it's bad.

You see, I learned that as a child. I was happy with what I had. I didn't know it was supposed to be better. We didn't have a lot of money, but we were rich in things money couldn't buy. I was able to smile and appreciate my life until I grew older and saw myself in other's eyes. It was then that I felt like I was less because of their "poor you" attitude. I felt uncomfortable. I didn't like the, occasional, patronizing feeling I sensed. But, was it just me or did others feel the same? If they did, I could understand how this could, among other things, cause discord and resentment in some people being "saved."

Being a people watcher, most of my life, taught me never to assume. There are those who really need help and were gracious, but they had lines we shouldn't cross. It taught me that some people were perpetual users, abusing the kindest of others, and got angry when they were deprived of their freebies. And yes, as in my case, it taught me that some people don't think they're poor and need saving. They're often more happy and content in their simplicity then most of us are in our materialistic world. They may even think we're the ones that need saving.

Dream: Psychic Attachments

Strange dream this morning. It left me feeling it was a personal message not to sweat the small stuff.

I was trying to make plans for things and kept feeling doubt. Couldn't shake it off. Then I was sitting next to a very old man and telling him about my feelings, and he told me that he knew what was going on. I said, "maybe it's because of my own doubts or insecurities."

He said, "No, it's because of other's desires. You have too many strings attached to you. It's their strings of wishes and hopes for them. You're having these doubts because someone could be ill and may want you nearby. Or someone may be planning a trip. They may want to include you, but haven't told you, yet. Sometimes, it's someone in the universe giving you doubt about making plans because they know someone is getting ready to cross over and they want you nearby. See? Plenty of attachments being created to give you doubt."

I asked, "So, what do I do? If I stay I may begin to feel I'm being used. That I'm only serving another's needs."

He said, "Then set your priorities, make your plans the best you can. If it's meant to be, it will be. The flow can't always be about another unless you keep allowing it. Don't forget, even if someone gets ill or crosses over, their destiny is already seen. Do you think you can change that by not going anywhere?

I asked, "Can I?"

He asked, "Can you?"

I woke up wondering how many of my thoughts are attaching to other's plans and giving them doubt. Then I wondered about the demands on God and His council and wondered what they do if or when they want a vacation. Do they get one or are the demands (strings) too great on them to remove?

Then I chuckled and thought, I bet their scissors are huge.

Where Do You Draw The Line?

I was having a conversation with a friend last night about various medications. I mentioned that I can't blame people for doing whatever they can to have a better quality of life. But, this morning, I had a message in a dream about that. This man asked me: "where do you draw the line in someone pursuing their quality of life when that pursuit may harm another or others?"

Hmmm... deep.

It made me think of many areas. For instance, drug abuse for one. Drug pushers (legal or illegal) need drug addicts or drug dependency people. Or, prostitution, as another example. People are deprived of their quality of life in order to help another have what they want.

But the one major thing that came to mind is people arriving illegally into other countries, seeking a better quality of life, but are possible germ carriers, which may cause a pandemic in the country their fleeing to. What about those natives' quality of life? History has advised us of past pandemics. So, why are some promoting this illegal, mass-migration mentality?

Unless some actually want a pandemic to kill off millions of people like the 1918 pandemic. Population control? Think about it. We create vaccines, but then there is a scare put out about them. Then there's mass migration worldwide. What next? Another pandemic? Decreasing population worldwide?

This could be a flight of fancy of an over active mind. But, it could also be from someone observing and seeing things adding up. You see, if people are becoming obsessed about over population, and thoughts create our reality, will our thoughts create a mass de-population? Is that something the "behind the scenes" people may be doing today? Even unconsciously? After all, we're only creating a better quality of life - in the long run.

Yes, that was a very profound dream message. Where do you draw the line?

Zorro

Around the early 2000's, when I was working for Disney, I had a dream about Zorro that was in animation. Animation! Never before or since have I ever dreamt like that. It was wild!! The day after, I told my manager about it. She was going to look into it, but no one from Disney called me.

The dream was so vivid that it made me wonder if I dreaming of an animation in the works. Like being in the mind of a Disney animator who may be making an animation about Zorro. Apparently, they weren't. I'm still waiting to see if my dream makes it into the mind of a Disney animator.

I was a little disappointed that they've done so many and not this one. Isn't Zorro public domain? After all, there are Zorro cartoons, but not in the style of Disney or my dream. Disney did produce a "real person" Zorro TV show in the 50's, which I enjoyed watching as a child. In fact, I've enjoyed all the various Zorro movies that have been made: the gallant Spanish hero defending the rights of the innocent against the wicked, based on the 1919 book, The Curse of Capistrano.

Spanish? Hmmm... it seems our Spanish hero may talk with a little bit of an Irish accent. In 2014, I saw a Smithsonian video about Zorro being a Wexford Irishman called William Lamport. Irish not Spanish? Of course, it's believed that the current Zorro is a myth, but as in most myths, there may be some truths involved too.

Here's the Smithsonian video about it: Zorro Wasn’t Mexican or Spanish, But… Irish?

https://youtu.be/94KiluTAEas

Here's an article about it: The mark of Lamport: The real Zorro was from Wexford

https://www.irishtimes.com/life-and-style/abroad/the-mark-of-lamport-the-real-zorro-was-from-wexford-1.3059440

Lastly, after recent investigation, I discovered a possible answer to my question. There has been legal action, for many years, about Zorro rights. Maybe Disney is waiting for the dust to settle and a Zorro animation could still be in our future. Here's hoping.

Duality: Good or Bad

Good or bad is a human duality (up-down, right-left, top-bottom) concept based on our beliefs.

For instance, most, generally, believe God is good. But, if He punishes us, we may feel the punishment is bad or God is being bad towards us.

We also say Satan is bad, but if Satan awards someone for something, that person may think Satan is being good.

The opposite also applies... depending on what side we're on. We may think God's punishment to another is good or deserving, whereas Satan's reward to someone is bad.

Yet, what if our belief of good and bad is tested, by someone we see as good, when asked to do something we feel is bad or evil? Would we still do it?

This is why humans live in a chaotic existence. Not only are we fighting what we see as good or bad in others, we're, constantly, fighting those feelings within us: the battle of heart and mind.

However, the line between the good or bad duality will begin to fade when we understand universal law and order: as in the Chinese philosophy of the yin and yang where it's believed that seemingly contrary forces may actually be complimentary.

Victimhood

This is why it's important to read people's comments, on various topics, even those that go against our beliefs, because it can help us understand perspectives. I've been reading discussions, regarding white privilege, when it dawned on me that everyone had their perspective based on their life's experiences, but the one thing that stood out the most was how they handled those experiences.

Regardless of skin color, there was a common thread, from some, of "my life sucked more than yours" and now I'm entitled to this chip on my shoulder... this suffering or victim mentality. I could tell that many were perpetuating the hurt and hate in a self destructive manner... a means to an end. But what end? And then it hit me. It's to keep those invisible shackles on so they can use it as an invisible noose around another's neck... to perpetuate the suffering... the victimhood.

I realized, then, that no matter what anyone offered, it would not be well received. They weren't ready to hear it. It reminded me of people who have Munchausen syndrome, who feign disease, illness, or psychological trauma in order to draw attention, sympathy, or reassurance to themselves. Even though their experiences could be real, healing and moving on from their victimhood would not serve their intent.

Big Government Is Not Our Friend

I'm beginning to believe that most people who feel the government should do everything isn't necessarily due to laziness. It's more about fear in making their own life's decisions - a fear of growing up, as well as being responsible and accountable. I understand that government is necessary to the existence of a civilized society, but it shouldn't deprive us of every individual decision we need to make.

When I was growing up, I couldn't wait to move out and make my own choices, work, pay my bills and be responsible for my life. I was taught that we worked first and played later. If we couldn't afford it, we didn't get it. Part of our monthly bills was having insurance: medical, home and vehicle. To do less was irresponsible. We didn't believe the goverment needed to hold our hands and make mature decisions for us. We were free to make our choices. We weren't children anymore. We worked and helped others when necessary. It was in our nature to be this way. And, there were plenty of avenues to utilize if we ran into problems.

Thankfully, I have hope for our future. It's refreshing to see some young who feel too much government is harmful to their freedom. They're waking up. They're talking about government overreach being criminal and making people lazy and indifferent. Others are still learning, but it took many years of programing their minds, from nefarious beings and mass educational systems, that "Big Brother" really cared. They're learning that it's not always the truth, especially when they've stepped out into the world and had a taste of reality.

Those who have never liked excessive parental control see government overreach as another form of giving away one's power... one's freedom... including one's dignity. When it comes to making individual and proper decisions for ourselves, I can assure you that big government is not our friend. Do you want to know why I know this? I've read world history and understand human weaknesses. But, don't take my word for it, do some research. There's plenty of stories on the Internet about governments that failed and why.

Determinism versus Free Will

Five years ago, I shared a joke about determinism versus free will. A friend, Janelle, decided to weigh in on it and this was the conversation that ensued.

----------
Janelle: When I look at the Universe, my life, and those around me, to see it predetermined all the way through, no stops or breaks, no change of the flow, I feel like asking: then why bother incarnating? It doesn't make sense to me to have an experience if it's predetermined to a point we can ask, "well what's going to happen to me?" and we receive and answer for every slight, minute detail. I wouldn't want to live life that way. There's no learning experience in being given every answer. However, as far as a life time concerned, it's organized to have some direction. And I realize that doesn't mean that things can't change, they can. So maybe it's a bit a both. But, I agree, people should not slip into the idea that it's their DNA or something controlling them to a point where they cannot control themselves.

Me: I believe it's balance within too, Janelle, as well as without. It's an interaction of all things to keep us moving and growing either here, out there, or elsewhere. Even a river can be blocked, so we can, obviously, have moments of stagnation. Kind of like taking a rest or break from working.

Janelle: Indeed. If we didn't have a break, we'd be exhausted.

Me: Absolutely.
----------

When I started teaching metaphysics, 30 years ago, I thought what might help explain determinism was our soul incarnating with all its prior programming. That soul DNA, along with our current physical DNA, is what we're "born with" - pre-determined. But, God's gift of free will helps us maintain or rewrite that soul/physical programming, in a new life, with our choices. The "collective" free will of cultural, social, and religious indoctrinations all help to influence our decisions.

Taking on the task of making over 300 soul beginning videos, on my Atomarane YouTube channel, proved it to me. Some have more deeply programmed souls than others - for numerous reasons. Also, I discovered that no one stayed completely in their beginning influences; they evolved.

Who's Really Being Greedy?

Mike Cernovich's tweet (picture) is correct.  Damned if we do and damned if we don't. I know people blame the government for all their problems. I've been guilty of it too. But we humans are our own worse enemy. We created unions to keep from being exploited but we got greedy and overly demanding. See, it's not just big corporations that can do this.

So, what's a company/farmer/rancher to do in order to stay competitive or keep prices within reason? Well, a few ideas would be 1) create right to work states, 2) promote outside impoverished country's temporary employment, and 3) hire illegals and pay them under the table with poverty wages while pretending you don't know they're illegals.

Okay, so now the government steps in and creates a minimum wage. We complain that minimum wage is too low and, eventually, companies are forced to raise them. We think we have accomplished something grand until employers downsize because of it. Something they've done every time minimum wage is raised or automation becomes part of the workplace. Oh, and unemployment checks don't last forever.

But we're so smart. We continue to undermined our "unstable employment perch" by arguing with only our hearts and not our minds. We need outside help! Forgive the illegals! They do the jobs we don't want! However, many are doing a lot of the jobs we once did. And, has it ever crossed our minds that they don't care because they're working - cheaply - maybe illegally - while we're unemployed or still living at home with our parents - because of the personnel glut on the market?  But that's okay, we'll just go on welfare. Right? How will that work out when we, eventually, kill the goose laying those golden eggs?

I can go on but I think you get the point. Hopefully.

The Trials of Balance

I've been telling people, for a long time, that I like our socialist/capitalist government system in the United States. It took many years to achieve and maintain a balance between the two. Of course, it's a continuous balancing act to maintain it. However, I read comments from people who want full on socialism/democratic socialism (meaning communism) and thought I'd share some of their feelings I've channeled.

What I feel, behind their words, are a plethora of emotions. Some are in fear of doing things on their own. They are still living in a "slave mentality" of wanting another to provide everything for them, so they don't have to think (weak-minded). Yet, like children still living at home, they are subject to the whims of the parents and whatever this authority figure dictates. That is, until the oppression overwhelms them and they finally rebel (grow up).

Also, they would rather complain about what others have, then doing the same for themselves. I sense a lot of greed as they complain about the greed of others. They want what others have, are jealous that they don't have it, but have very little drive to be competitive.

So, in totality, what I've channeled is fear, laziness, greed, jealousy and a lack of drive. They prefer complaining instead, which is similar to a child rebelling against parental rules, without understanding what the parent (authority) knows. It's that gimme-gimme mentality without knowing or caring where the money/resources are coming from or how to maintain the flow without upsetting the balance. Sadly, these aren't children who are behaving this way - they're adults.

From the other side, I pick up two major emotions. How can you still be so stupid after all we've shared regarding history and what it has taught us? How can you be so egotistical to think you can do what others have tried, yet failed - repeatedly?

I've also noticed that when one side pushes too far, there's a push back. Like it or not, apparently, it's part of our trials in maintaining balance between many things like emotion and logic or socialism and capitalism.
