To The Victor Belongs The Spoils

To me, life is like a game of tug of war. You are constantly pulling or being pulled on until, eventually, you are still on dry land or you land in the mud.

However, who really is the victor?

You can say the one who remained on dry land, yet with the right attitude, you can say the one who earned a free mud bath.

Life can also be about turning a negative into a positive. This takes the mindset to do it. No one can gain from anything they feel is negative, if they continually feed the negative.

Understand?

Take time to evaluate each situation you feel is negative, in order to find the positive. It's there, if you really want to find it, but you have to remove those undermining, self-sacrificing, or guilt ridden blinders that keep you from seeing beyond the situation. Once found, then feed the positive.

You can be the victor on dry land or the victor with a free mud bath. It's your choice to claim your spoils.

~~~~~
Title Meaning (Wikipedia): The phrase "to the victor belong the spoils" by New York Senator William L. Marcy referring to the victory of the Jackson Democrats in the election of 1828 with the term "spoils" meaning goods or benefits taken from the loser in a competition, election or military victory.
Metaphysical Words: The Dangling Carrot?
I wrote a blog the other day about words that unconsciously control. Most know the impact that words can have. Of course, these are my truths, but I share them to see if others may have already come to the same conclusion. If not, this is alright too.
To reiterate, I have come to the conclusion, after many years of analysis, that words like "unconditional love" and "judgments" are metaphysical drugs to induce people into a fantasy that cannot be met in order to provoke self chastisement or worse. To reach for something that was never meant to be attainable, but used as a carrot in front of a donkey to get it to perform.
We beat ourselves up, or others, for not getting it, but this "getting it" has become a detrimental fantasy that has created a lot of fervor and hate over words that constantly undermine us or for being unworthy.
This can create blocks in our heart which we then have to work on releasing so we can be free ... so we can get over judging ourselves because we don't truly understand living and loving unconditionally ... which we secretly withhold that knowledge from the public so no one judges us ... which creates more blocks in judging ourselves. Vicious circle.
All this being done in order to control the masses under pretentious doctrines? To have us running around in never ending circles?
The more I thought about this, the more I felt that we were putting too much emphasis on words, without truly understanding them, and that we are actually judging words that are judging us. Maybe that's the real "getting it" and as we evolve we understand this: the blinders come off, the puppet strings are cut and no more dangling carrot.
As a guide once told me: "Words are not as important as emotions. People can say the same word but have a different emotion behind it."
I'm sure we can all think of a much "overused" word that we can relate this to. ;-)
In a recent response to a blog comment, I told someone: to be able to live in peace, one has to be free of controversy.
I would rather work on that than boggling my brain over judging words that are judging me. I have more important things to do then playing word games.
Psychic Self Defense - Email Response
Every now and then I answer an email and guidance will ask me to share it to help others. I do what I can to channel information off the universe in order to tailor each response for every individual; it is a personal message just for them but others can learn from it.
This one was in response to handling what they felt they were doing: drawing negativity to them. Along with understanding psychic abilities and protection.
We can all draw negativity because it's part of life, but we can choose to live in it or not ... feed it or not. We can choose to whine, complain, hate, curse your life, or another's, day in and day out ... or not. You could be drawing it to you because you're living in it. You become your own worse "negative" enemy. You also become an energy vampire and eventually friends and family, not wanting to be sucked into your black hole, will walk the other way ... for protection. Can you blame them?
Also, I don't say my way is the only way, but only that it's my way. Though I still may have attacks, including sexual and physical, what I learned is what saved me, and allowed me peace of mind, over many years. It's like riding out a storm, sometimes, but I do what I can to be the calm within the storm.
As they say, practice makes perfect, but I wouldn't wish anyone to have psychic attacks from an unseen force (including one's own mind) to become perfect in psychic self-defense, or to understand what I, and others, have experienced, yet, sad to say, sometimes this is what it takes.
Those that have experienced mental or physical attacks, for whatever reasons, know the reality of it. It is not fun and can be very frightening. Gives insight to the saying: "don't speak ill of the dead." That is, unless you are prepared to deal with the circumstances or you know someone who will for you.
This is why people ask me for advice and why I give it ... most want to learn. Besides, I would rather teach, and have someone learn, then to do it for them. As I have said many times before: I don't want to be "god" for you, I want you to be "god" for yourself. This allows, and doesn't deny, empowerment.
That's why I blog and make videos. One day I will be "physically" gone but my words will hopefully live on to help those when I'm no longer there to do so. I can still share when I'm no longer there. ;-)
~~~~~~~Email

We can attract things to us for various reasons, however I am one who likes to thwart any negativity by turning it into positive. Kind of like ... what can I learn from this and how can I use it to better my life? This kind of attitude creates a more positive environment almost immediately.

Negative things will happen to anyone at anytime, but how we treat it will be what helps or hinders us. We can sit around and say "woe is me" ... or ... "that was interesting." See? It's all part of living and learning ... and the right attitude helps.

Also, I like to keep my mind involved in order to evolve. Learning things keeps us busy, as well as educated, and out of the darkness of fear based emotions that can control us. It keeps us from brooding over "bad" stuff. It's similar to saying ... ain't got time for that. ;-)

Also, since we all have brains, we all have psychic abilities because we all have a soul/mind that we are born with into each life. Yet, there are those that have a general understanding of what this means and those that are masters in this field. It's no different then any subject that can be learned, we can have different levels of awareness.

Just as being empathic, most have this understanding, yet again, some more then others. Being empathic is the reason we can sense things around us.  Nothing wrong in that unless we are too open to other's emotions and forget to protect our own.

I had to learn not to be too caring. I know that may sound harsh, but as one guide reminded me a long time ago, I'm no good for another if I'm no good for myself first. I had to learn to care but not over care.

As I've been informed before ... I'm not here to save the world. Knowing that there is only so much anyone can do, allowed me an understanding that I can only do what I can when I can. I've incorporated those feelings in my inner guidance and can shut down on things now that I know I cannot have control over in any way, shape or form.

This is important for you as well. Do what you can to protect your emotions with only doing what you can when you can and watch out for any flow that can lead you into destruction. After all, you too can only do what you can and will not be good for another if you haven't learned to keep a check and balance going within yourself. This is another form of psychic protection.

Do what makes you happy. Smile often.

Do what you are strongly pulled to do. If it doesn't feel right, don't do it. That is your true guidance.

Hope that helps.

Love Unconditionally And Don't Judge?

I've had this Avatar saying (below in bold) since the early nineties and I'm still working on accepting it. It's difficult because I see flaws. Yes, I have and still teach metaphysics, but I also learn and that's why I don't mind sharing; including this.

Avatars: When you adopt the viewpoint that there is nothing that exists that is not part of you, that there is no one who exists who is not part of you, that any judgment you make is self judgment, that any criticism you level is self-criticism, you will wisely extend to yourself and unconditional love that will be the light of the world.

Don't get me wrong, I do understand it, and have seen and heard all the justifying arguments, but I have had an issue with the words "unconditional" and "judgment" since first hearing them. I won't define the words as they are easy to look up on the Internet, however the reason why I have an issue is because of something I learned back then: everything, and I mean everything, has a condition ... including love ... and everyone judges even if you want to call it discernment.

If you look deep enough, you will always find the reason or reasons someone does something. Sometimes, it takes looking beyond what we physically see to understand this. I did this many times over the years, which has reinforced my beliefs.

This would mean any avatar, including Jesus, returned for a reason and had a condition to their return. Maybe Jesus didn't want to return, knowing he could be attacked (and was), but he must have agreed to it. He must have loved the idea more, that he wanted to present to the world, above knowing he would be crucified, but presenting that idea was still a condition. Obviously, he, and others, must have seen a need to change something in the world that, in their opinion, needed changing or why bother returning? Wouldn't any "condition" like this be "judging"?

Are they returning as teachers because the good of all outweighed the good of one? Do they indulge in self-sacrificing? Are they being duped by non-truths as many of us are? However, aren't these still conditions of their taking action to return ... based on their judgments of us?

We are taught that they were here to raise awareness ... to teach. Isn't that still a condition? If we are all part of each other, as the quote above states, why do we need to be taught? It should be there already. What you know, I should know, since we are all one. If we do need teaching us something, and there are those teachers to do it, isn't that still a condition? Are they not judging us? We have teachers who learn math, so they can teach math, because obviously we are not all one and someone must feels math is important. They may even judge us if we don't want to learn it, even if finding out we are not capable of learning for some reason. Are they doing it hatefully or is it an observation?

Why wouldn't we be allowed to just "go with the flow" whatever that "flow" is? Why would we need anyone to teach, or show us anything, if we are all a reflection of one another? Why would there be judgments or lessons to erase those judgments (sins)? Why would we need followers or a faith? Why would we need to continue any teachings? Wouldn't that be a judgment from these avatars returning, while at the same time telling us not to judge? Wouldn't those also be conditions?

This made me realize that, after studying my original soul, that this main soul of mine had conditions too. My original soul had a great love for our souls and minds, which means something was seen so destructive in order to force this soul to return. Obviously, with everything that happened to me, and others, it came true. Nothing was stopped, but was it suppose to be? Wouldn't "higher guidance" have known this? Was it just to "raise awareness" or teach lessons? Then why does it keep failing? It doesn't add up ... at least to me.

When you study the reasons any avatar may return, you will see these conditions. They all have a motive. They all have reasons. They all have conditions which are based on how they see things ... based on their judgments (discernments/observations) of right or wrong.

This sounds a little hypocritical to me, based on that above quote.

Also, how can anyone be "unconditional" on anything, including love. Love has always been conditional. You want someone to care for you as you do them. If not, you leave ... you move on ... or try to. These are conditions ... these are also judgments when they don't conform.

Treat me as you wish to be treated: "conditions" of the Golden Rule.

Sometimes another's conditions or judgments won't allow love as we may want. This is when we can destroy another because of love turning to hate ... which still has its conditions. "If I can't have you, no one can!" See?

So, I've come to the decision that avatars/gurus/teachers return for many reasons, yet their "love" is conditional. Their conditions may not always be fulfilled when they return, so they will leave, possibly returning another time. As in ... if at first you don't succeed, etc.. Returning because of what they judge in us, which they feel needs improvement.

Maybe they feel they haven't been "crucified" enough by us, and keep returning to help, or possibly they have been hurt enough and will turn their backs in helping anymore. Maybe they will start feeling it's time to leave us to our own defenses ... due to their sorrow or disgust of our behavior. Another condition? Another judgment? Why not? After all, would anyone want to keep coming back and have people continually trying to destroy them ... not just for who they currently are but for who they may have been?

I know I wouldn't!

Furthermore, in my opinion, to not have any conditions means you would not have emotions (feelings). This means that avatars would be robotic and not empathic. I think not! They have emotions and they have conditions. I don't want to pick on Jesus, there are flaws in all of them, but he did throw a temper fit in the temple. Big emotions, if you ask me.

Maybe they come back to help us get it,  whatever "it" is. However, as I said above, how many more times will they come back to help, be attacked, and finally decide we're not worth "it" anymore?

know what you might think ... even that could be a judgment by their relinquishing us: "They're not worth our love, we're done!" Yet, why wouldn't they be allowed their feelings too? They're not machines to be abused at our will. Even a machine would break down after continual misuse. Right?

Believe me, I'm not trying to be contrary, I really have thought this over and, to me, it's just simple avatar arithmetic. If they can't practice what they preach, how are we to understand it? Maybe that's why we can't get it, because it's just lip service and their truth is not true.

Maybe it's not to be understood. Maybe that's why things are changing because of the current avatars that are teaching. Maybe the current avatars have come back to straighten out the messes they made in the past. I will bet that we still make more messes. We are only human, after all, and constantly learning.

However, in this school called life, why should their judgments and conditions override mine; as long as I'm doing what I feel is being a good person and leading a good life ... based on my perception of good and not necessarily theirs?

If we are all a reflection of another, then that "other" should understand this without question or doubt. Since they are me and I am them.

Hmmm ... ???

Exactly! We are all connected to the universe but not at the hip, I am me and they are themselves; including all the wonderful, yet perplexing, diversity in which all that represents. Including all the conditions and judgments in which that represents. We are many species, in this moment in time; we need to live in this moment in time and not in the past. Live in this reality and not something from five hundred, five thousand or five million years ago.

This is fact! This is truth! This is life!

Just live ... that's the real "getting it." Not sitting in some guru isolation, spouting wisdom, but getting real with real life situations and real people ... and all that this entails. Just try to be positive and happy because life will do all it can to suck it out of you every chance it can ... judging, conditions and anything else.

Besides, if someone tells me that I'm judging them, aren't they judging me at the same time? Seems too hypocritical to me to be part of this insanity anymore.

So ... when someone says you're judging, just reply: and your point?

When someone says anything about unconditional love, just reply: love is part of life and life has conditions.

When someone says we are all one, just say: I hope not, I love my individuality.

Or not ... it's your choice. I won't judge you.

Maybe. ;-)

To Each Their Own?

I posted this Emerson quote earlier today and soon after started getting messages from guidance.

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”  ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

The messages I received were from guidance challenging me on it. One challenge was: "can you really allow others to be themselves in order for you to be yourself?"

I replied: this depends on each situation. If I am allowed to be myself, and allow others to be who they are, then why are we here? I feel we all challenge one another to look at ourselves and see if this is what we truly want. Also, as you've taught me, "allowing doesn't mean putting up with." I choose not to put up with a bad attitude and I can allow it by walking away.

When I first received that "allowing" message from our Creator, many years ago, the feeling behind it was: we know better but we do it anyway, and no one should have to put up with anything given in a negative or lesser manner. It was then that I realized that we are all here to be a sort of guidance ... a foundation ... a check and balance system to those that cross our path ... as they do for us.

Many times my husband and I have challenged each other's truth. We have a civilized, verbal battle of wills to prove each other's point in order to come to an agreement. If not, we table it ... put it away until another day when we may have better insight to the problem.

In doing this, we have managed to change our opinion or concept on a subject peacefully. We have also gained wisdom from just listening to one another and, believe it or not, we have allowed ourselves to be better or different because of it. We have a mutual understanding of doing this without hate, name calling or belittling.

More should debate in like manner and maybe more would have less wars.

To continue, I felt that guidance was directing me into a better understanding of those around us trying to "change" us. Maybe we should realize that we are all here for change and just stop fussing about it.

Thank goodness for some change or we would all still be cave people ... not that there is anything wrong in that, if that is one's chosen path. However, if a cave person crosses path with a more advanced being, will one change another's thinking? Will the cave person convince the advanced being to be less or more ... or vice versa ... or just go their separate ways, peacefully.

One of my favorite sayings, when presented with a new challenge which I choose not to currently participate in: to each their own.

This is my way of saying, do what you want as long as you're not hurting me or another. You go your way and I'll go mine, since we have different opinions. But ... and you know there is always a but ... if the universe places two people within the same path, there is a reason: to learn from one another. How is one to know if they are hurting another without challenges to their existence ... without examples being presented ... without being taught a different way of thinking ... without confronting ourselves ... without, oh no shall I dare say it, changes?

We are all students and teachers in this plan called life. If we have someone trying to "change us," it may only be to test our convictions to our truths ... just as the devil tested Jesus. Are they then playing devil's advocate and is God sending the messenger? See? Think about it.

Life teaches us, eventually, to pick our battles wisely. Will you be tried and tested, challenged and changed, or will you walk away saying ... to each their own, yet still affected by what just transpired? Is anything really to each their own then? A thought seeded can take root ... can eventually make a change ... because you allowed it.

Oh well, in this lifetime I choose to be different, based on those that feel this way about me, it's what makes me happy. Maybe next lifetime I'll conform ... or not. ;)

Do You Feel Your Mind is in a Fog Around Certain People?

Has anyone experienced being around another, or others, (family, friends or a stranger) and feel as if your energy is being manipulated by another or your senses are suddenly in a fog?

It's a feeling as if your thoughts are blocked or you're saying things that are unfamiliar ... as if someone is "pulling your strings" and it's not for your highest good.

It's a feeling as if a thought has been forced (projected) into your mind and you say it but later, or even in that moment, you feel that was not you. You can even feel it was true (somewhat) but you can't shake that feeling of doubt.

You may question things like: why did I say that ... or ... why was I not able to think or talk as I normally do ... or ... why was my thoughts blocked ... or my favorite ... where in the hell did that come from?!

It's as if you know the truth but your truth ability was being denied, blocked or subjected to by a fog of deceit. You feel that fog permeating and unrelenting.

Most times, in my unaware days, I would shrug my shoulders and move on because it wasn't that big of a deal or I chose not to make a big deal out of it.

That is, unless it provoked a retort of ... that's not true ... from someone. Generally, I would say: what I meant to say was ... or ... I don't know why I said that ... or ... I don't know where that came from. Then I would just laugh or shrug my shoulders.

Now, I have learned, since awakening, that this is a setup for numerous reasons but, generally, to make another feel better about them self ... at your expense.

Lately, I have certain family members that I sense something is going on around them. When I am around them, I start sensing this fog of deceit rolling in and around me.

Now, after a few incidents, which have occurred over the past few years, I start honing my senses even more when I start sensing that heavy fog ... almost as if I'm preparing for battle. I'm on guard but I don't always know why or what.

Of course, I'm only human and have been caught off guard a number of times.  This has made me question my guides later ... where were you? Busy or distracted were a couple of reasons that they weren't on guard at that time. Makes sense. Why should I have problems with family for them to be on guard?

Besides, I'm sure they have more then me to consider. I know that I'm not the "end all - be all" of their existence and they know I've been trained ... I can tie my own shoes now. ;)

However, after an incident occurs, I have had a few all calls with them to get to the heart of the matter. This is when I discovered what was going on with each moment that had occurred. Live and learn ... and I'm still doing so.

Here are a few answers that I received after dealing with blocked, projected or subjected thoughts ... not just from family.

1) There are some who feel inferior to you and want to discredit you.

2) There are some who want to be on your level but do not want to take the time to learn all you did, so they decide it's easier to be superior acting by belittling you ... we see through it.

3) There are those who feel they have to bring you down to their level because they cannot deal with the truth of their own ignorance.

4) There are those who want to use you as a scapegoat to their own frailties.

5) There are those that want to blame everyone but themselves.

6) There are those who hate their very existence but instead of getting you to help them (or anyone), it is easier to maintain the hate and subject that hate onto you when you are expecting it less.

7) There are those that wish to maintain their darkness and your light blinds them from the truth of being what they want to be ... you.

8) There are those who feel in their heart they are doing something evil and they don't want to be exposed, hence they plot to make you look like you're not in your right mind.

These are only a few things I've heard and I've removed the names of the ones we were discussing in order to keep it impersonal. It wasn't told to me in order to stroke my ego. I could feel and see the truth in what was being presented. I have some tough, no nonsense guides only because I choose to go to the ones who know the answers and that can be anyone of a higher order. They don't placate egos; they tell it like it is.

It is not difficult to understand that there are many reasons why anyone can experience this, especially if you are a threat to another's ego. This is why I tell people, often, how these so called mind altering influences can take away our ability to be on guard. Yet, do you know that anger is a mind altering influence? It can remove your ability to reason as well as allowing that fog of deceit to influence you.

Anger can also be subjective. One must be on guard to that also, especially when the anger is sudden and without reason. Good clue. Yet, someone drinking, per se, may not be in their right mind to catch it. Get it?

To continue, when you have family or friends around that have family members who have crossed over, and have not gone through a healing in the universe, their energy can be used against you. This can be innocent on their part but in their innocence their minds can be used to set you up ... due to their confusion. That's when you may hear things like ... oh, you must be getting senile like your father (or whoever) ... and yet, this may only occur around certain people. Any other time you are fine.

Perplexing!?

Anyway, I will not fault the innocent in their ignorance but will check to see if they were used. That will be the person who gets disciplined. Disciplining is a must in any dimension. People who cross over are not always in the state of mind of "doing into others ... etc."

I try to be a good "parent" in the universe though. I've learned to not let my anger get the better of me. I warn and advise numerous times before my patience wears thin ... before taking stronger measures that the universe allows. I know to ask for guidance and permission.

The main reason I do what I do is because of my love of our minds and souls, and that I do not like seeing the destruction of it. I'm here to learn and share ... as most are. Once they understand my real interest, they can put aside their fears of exposure, misplaced egos, or the what ifs ... the fog lifts (sometimes). Lifting that proverbial fog (removing their fears) can take time, understanding and patience ... and their allowing it too.

It seems to be a never ending story though. When I sense the fog rolling in, all I can say is: here we go again.

I took this picture on a recent trip, through the mountains, and it shows how I feel about sensing a fog rolling towards and around my mind.

What's Around The River Bend

I commented once that life sucks and then you die, so I might as well try to stay happy, content and peaceful.

To clarify on that comment, I meant each "physical" body eventually dies - some sooner - some later.

I must be a glutton for punishment as I am still here and wish to stay around even after all I've been though. It's interesting, to say the least, to see what life throws at me next.

Maybe it's the anticipation of wanting to know what's around the river bend.

I never expect or assume anything, yet I know that life is still to short to be miserable.

Carpe Diem!

Eternal Punishment? Why Do Bad Things Happen To Good People?

When people are unforgiving and cannot move on and away from a topic or person for what "they" feel is an injustice, in this lifetime, they do all they can to create a lifetime of punishment for that subject or person they've condemned; collective thought makes that emotion more powerful.

Understandable ... to a degree.

However, and this is only one scenario to this topic, when you are having a bad life, yet feel you're a good person, just remember that first sentence above and think of a "collective emotional punishment" that may have been created by something from a very long ago past ... yet use those same unforgiving principles people apply today ... it becomes eternal, unrelenting, unforgiving judgments.

Yes, eternal punishment, because, apparently, time doesn't seem to change stripes on a tiger.

Stalemate ... no one moves on ... until you possibly push God/dess' hands to get involved. You've held that thought way too long and you will be forced to learn forgiveness. You will be forced to move on. Even if that means all hell breaks loose to teach a lesson.

This is one example of why bad things can happen to good people. You've, possibly, done something that may have angered or hurt someone five hundred years ago (or whenever). You've moved on, or try to, but they never did ... which means you won't either ... unless you know how to change out "their" emotions or know who "they" are.

Furthermore, there are those that could be in the wrong place at the wrong time and get caught up in the shuffle.

How long can the shuffle last?

Well ... how long can you hold a grudge?

Hell is a state of being ... not a place ... unless that place is your mind. When you hold a grudge, you lose. That "darkness" (hell) will permeate throughout your body, mind, and soul; it will destroy you while you're trying to destroy your enemy. In that case, who really wins?

Who have you been judging lately?

Who is judging you?

For how long?

Why?

Eternal punishment or eternal destruction?

Judge not lest thee be judged.

Did you judge before?

If so, are you reaping what you sowed?

Just some food for thought.

Lab Rodents and Tumors

I just heard a veterinarian (Dr Pol) on TV the other night say that rodents are prone to tumors and have a short lifespan. Hmmm...

After hearing this, I had an epiphany which made me wonder if the tumors produced in a lab was just their genetic situation anyway and the labs (and others) were capitalizing on it for selfish gain and/or fear mongering.

Not like that would ever happen. Hmmm ...

Excerpt from above website: Along with respiratory infections, tumors are one of the most common health problems and causes of death in rats, especially in females.

Picture from rat fan club
