Where Do You Draw The Line?

I was having a conversation with a friend last night about various medications. I mentioned that I can't blame people for doing whatever they can to have a better quality of life. But, this morning, I had a message in a dream about that. This man asked me: "where do you draw the line in someone pursuing their quality of life when that pursuit may harm another or others?"

Hmmm... deep.

It made me think of many areas. For instance, drug abuse for one. Drug pushers (legal or illegal) need drug addicts or drug dependency people. Or, prostitution, as another example. People are deprived of their quality of life in order to help another have what they want.

But the one major thing that came to mind is people arriving illegally into other countries, seeking a better quality of life, but are possible germ carriers, which may cause a pandemic in the country their fleeing to. What about those natives' quality of life? History has advised us of past pandemics. So, why are some promoting this illegal, mass-migration mentality?

Unless some actually want a pandemic to kill off millions of people like the 1918 pandemic. Population control? Think about it. We create vaccines, but then there is a scare put out about them. Then there's mass migration worldwide. What next? Another pandemic? Decreasing population worldwide?

This could be a flight of fancy of an over active mind. But, it could also be from someone observing and seeing things adding up. You see, if people are becoming obsessed about over population, and thoughts create our reality, will our thoughts create a mass de-population? Is that something the "behind the scenes" people may be doing today? Even unconsciously? After all, we're only creating a better quality of life - in the long run.

Yes, that was a very profound dream message. Where do you draw the line?

Zorro

Around the early 2000's, when I was working for Disney, I had a dream about Zorro that was in animation. Animation! Never before or since have I ever dreamt like that. It was wild!! The day after, I told my manager about it. She was going to look into it, but no one from Disney called me. 

The dream was so vivid that it made me wonder if I dreaming of an animation in the works. Like being in the mind of a Disney animator who may be making an animation about Zorro. Apparently, they weren't. I'm still waiting to see if my dream makes it into the mind of a Disney animator. 

I was a little disappointed that they've done so many and not this one. Isn't Zorro public domain? After all, there are Zorro cartoons, but not in the style of Disney or my dream. Disney did produce a "real person" Zorro TV show in the 50's, which I enjoyed watching as a child. In fact, I've enjoyed all the various Zorro movies that have been made: the gallant Spanish hero defending the rights of the innocent against the wicked, based on the 1919 book, The Curse of Capistrano.

Spanish? Hmmm... it seems our Spanish hero may talk with a little bit of an Irish accent. In 2014, I saw a Smithsonian video about Zorro being a Wexford Irishman called William Lamport. Irish not Spanish? Of course, it's believed that the current Zorro is a myth, but as in most myths, there may be some truths involved too.

Lastly, after recent investigation, I discovered a possible answer to my question. There has been legal action, for many years, about Zorro rights. Maybe Disney is waiting for the dust to settle and a Zorro animation could still be in our future. Here's hoping. 

Duality: Good or Bad

Good or bad is a human duality (up-down, right-left, top-bottom) concept based on our beliefs.

For instance, most, generally, believe God is good. But, if He punishes us, we may feel the punishment is bad or God is being bad towards us.

We also say Satan is bad, but if Satan awards someone for something, that person may think Satan is being good.

The opposite also applies... depending on what side we're on. We may think God's punishment to another is good or deserving, whereas Satan's reward to someone is bad.

Yet, what if our belief of good and bad is tested, by someone we see as good, when asked to do something we feel is bad or evil? Would we still do it?

This is why humans live in a chaotic existence. Not only are we fighting what we see as good or bad in others, we're, constantly, fighting those feelings within us: the battle of heart and mind.

However, the line between the good or bad duality will begin to fade when we understand universal law and order: as in the Chinese philosophy of the yin and yang where it's believed that seemingly contrary forces may actually be complimentary.

Victimhood

This is why it's important to read people's comments, on various topics, even those that go against our beliefs, because it can help us understand perspectives. I've been reading discussions, regarding white privilege, when it dawned on me that everyone had their perspective based on their life's experiences, but the one thing that stood out the most was how they handled those experiences.

Regardless of skin color, there was a common thread, from some, of "my life sucked more than yours" and now I'm entitled to this chip on my shoulder... this suffering or victim mentality. I could tell that many were perpetuating the hurt and hate in a self destructive manner... a means to an end. But what end? And then it hit me. It's to keep those invisible shackles on so they can use it as an invisible noose around another's neck... to perpetuate the suffering... the victimhood.

I realized, then, that no matter what anyone offered, it would not be well received. They weren't ready to hear it. It reminded me of people who have Munchausen syndrome, who feign disease, illness, or psychological trauma in order to draw attention, sympathy, or reassurance to themselves. Even though their experiences could be real, healing and moving on from their victimhood would not serve their intent. 

Big Government Is Not Our Friend

I'm beginning to believe that most people who feel the government should do everything isn't necessarily due to laziness. It's more about fear in making their own life's decisions - a fear of growing up, as well as being responsible and accountable. I understand that government is necessary to the existence of a civilized society, but it shouldn't deprive us of every individual decision we need to make.

When I was growing up, I couldn't wait to move out and make my own choices, work, pay my bills and be responsible for my life. I was taught that we worked first and played later. If we couldn't afford it, we didn't get it. Part of our monthly bills was having insurance: medical, home and vehicle. To do less was irresponsible. We didn't believe the goverment needed to hold our hands and make mature decisions for us. We were free to make our choices. We weren't children anymore. We worked and helped others when necessary. It was in our nature to be this way. And, there were plenty of avenues to utilize if we ran into problems. 

Thankfully, I have hope for our future. It's refreshing to see some young who feel too much government is harmful to their freedom. They're waking up. They're talking about government overreach being criminal and making people lazy and indifferent. Others are still learning, but it took many years of programing their minds, from nefarious beings and mass educational systems, that "Big Brother" really cared. They're learning that it's not always the truth, especially when they've stepped out into the world and had a taste of reality. 

Those who have never liked excessive parental control see government overreach as another form of giving away one's power... one's freedom... including one's dignity. When it comes to making individual and proper decisions for ourselves, I can assure you that big government is not our friend. Do you want to know why I know this? I've read world history and understand human weaknesses. But, don't take my word for it, do some research. There's plenty of stories on the Internet about governments that failed and why.

Determinism versus Free Will

Five years ago, I shared a joke about determinism versus free will. A friend, Janelle, decided to weigh in on it and this was the conversation that ensued.

Janelle: When I look at the Universe, my life, and those around me, to see it predetermined all the way through, no stops or breaks, no change of the flow, I feel like asking: then why bother incarnating? It doesn't make sense to me to have an experience if it's predetermined to a point we can ask, "well what's going to happen to me?" and we receive and answer for every slight, minute detail. I wouldn't want to live life that way. There's no learning experience in being given every answer. However, as far as a life time concerned, it's organized to have some direction. And I realize that doesn't mean that things can't change, they can. So maybe it's a bit a both. But, I agree, people should not slip into the idea that it's their DNA or something controlling them to a point where they cannot control themselves.

 

Me: I believe it's balance within too, Janelle, as well as without. It's an interaction of all things to keep us moving and growing either here, out there, or elsewhere. Even a river can be blocked, so we can, obviously, have moments of stagnation. Kind of like taking a rest or break from working.

 

Janelle: Indeed. If we didn't have a break, we'd be exhausted. 

 

Me: Absolutely.

When I started teaching metaphysics, 30 years ago, I thought what might help explain determinism was our soul incarnating with all its prior programming. That soul DNA, along with our current physical DNA, is what we're "born with" - pre-determined. But, God's gift of free will helps us maintain or rewrite that soul/physical programming, in a new life, with our choices. The "collective" free will of cultural, social, and religious indoctrinations all help to influence our decisions.

 

Taking on the task of making over 300 soul beginning videos, on my Atomarane YouTube channel, proved it to me. Some have more deeply programmed souls than others - for numerous reasons. Also, I discovered that no one stayed completely in their beginning influences; they evolved.

 

 

Who's Really Being Greedy?

Mike Cernovich's tweet (picture) is correct.  Damned if we do and damned if we don't. I know people blame the government for all their problems. I've been guilty of it too. But we humans are our own worse enemy. We created unions to keep from being exploited but we got greedy and overly demanding. See, it's not just big corporations that can do this.

So, what's a company/farmer/rancher to do in order to stay competitive or keep prices within reason? Well, a few ideas would be 1) create right to work states, 2) promote outside impoverished country's temporary employment, and 3) hire illegals and pay them under the table with poverty wages while pretending you don't know they're illegals.

Okay, so now the government steps in and creates a minimum wage. We complain that minimum wage is too low and, eventually, companies are forced to raise them. We think we have accomplished something grand until employers downsize because of it. Something they've done every time minimum wage is raised or automation becomes part of the workplace. Oh, and unemployment checks don't last forever.

But we're so smart. We continue to undermined our "unstable employment perch" by arguing with only our hearts and not our minds. We need outside help! Forgive the illegals! They do the jobs we don't want! However, many are doing a lot of the jobs we once did. And, has it ever crossed our minds that they don't care because they're working - cheaply - maybe illegally - while we're unemployed or still living at home with our parents - because of the personnel glut on the market?  But that's okay, we'll just go on welfare. Right? How will that work out when we, eventually, kill the goose laying those golden eggs?

I can go on but I think you get the point. Hopefully.

The Trials of Balance

I've been telling people, for a long time, that I like our socialist/capitalist government system in the United States. It took many years to achieve and maintain a balance between the two. Of course, it's a continuous balancing act to maintain it. However, I read comments from people who want full on socialism/democratic socialism (meaning communism) and thought I'd share some of their feelings I've channeled.

What I feel, behind their words, are a plethora of emotions. Some are in fear of doing things on their own. They are still living in a "slave mentality" of wanting another to provide everything for them, so they don't have to think (weak-minded). Yet, like children still living at home, they are subject to the whims of the parents and whatever this authority figure dictates. That is, until the oppression overwhelms them and they finally rebel (grow up).

Also, they would rather complain about what others have, then doing the same for themselves. I sense a lot of greed as they complain about the greed of others. They want what others have, are jealous that they don't have it, but have very little drive to be competitive.

So, in totality, what I've channeled is fear, laziness, greed, jealousy and a lack of drive. They prefer complaining instead, which is similar to a child rebelling against parental rules, without understanding what the parent (authority) knows. It's that gimme-gimme mentality without knowing or caring where the money/resources are coming from or how to maintain the flow without upsetting the balance. Sadly, these aren't children who are behaving this way - they're adults.

From the other side, I pick up two major emotions. How can you still be so stupid after all we've shared regarding history and what it has taught us? How can you be so egotistical to think you can do what others have tried, yet failed - repeatedly?

I've also noticed that when one side pushes too far, there's a push back. Like it or not, apparently, it's part of our trials in maintaining balance between many things like emotion and logic or socialism and capitalism.

Why Learning English is Difficult

I found this on my computer today and since I have some new family members who will be learning English, I decided to share it. I do feel empathy for their journey as I recall the time I lived in Italy, as a child, and had to learn a new language. I've always admired any bi-lingual or multi-lingual person since. Anyway, I received the below information in an email, many years ago. I wish I knew who put this together but so far the author is unknown. Learning English isn’t just a question of learning the rules – it’s about learning the many exceptions to the rules. The numerous exceptions make it difficult to apply existing knowledge and use the same principle with a new word, so it’s harder to make quick progress.

Here goes …

If you ever feel stupid, then just read on. If you've learned to speak fluent English, you must be a genius! This little treatise on the lovely language we share is only for the brave. Peruse at your leisure, English lovers.

Reasons why the English language is so hard to learn:

1) The bandage was wound around the wound.

2) The farm was used to produce produce.

3) The dump was so full that it had to refuse more refuse.

4) We must polish the Polish furniture.

5) He could lead if he would get the lead out.

6) The soldier decided to desert his dessert in the desert.

7) Since there is no time like the present, he thought it was time to present the present.

8) A bass was painted on the head of the bass drum.

9) When shot at, the dove dove into the bushes.

10) I did not object to the object.

11) The insurance was invalid for the invalid.

12) There was a row among the oarsmen about how to row.

13) They were too close to the door to close it.

14) The buck does funny things when the does are present.

15) A seamstress and a sewer fell down into a sewer line.

16) To help with planting, the farmer taught his sow to sow.

17) The wind was too strong to wind the sail.

18) After a number of injections my jaw got number.

19) Upon seeing the tear in the painting I shed a tear.

21) How can I intimate this to my most intimate friend?

There is no egg in eggplant nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple.  English muffins weren't invented in England or French fries in France   Sweetmeats are candies while sweetbreads, which aren't sweet, are meat.

Quicksand works slowly, boxing rings are square and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.  And why is it that writers write, but fingers don't fing, grocers don't groce and hammers don't ham?

If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn't the plural of booth beeth?  One goose, 2 geese.  So one moose, 2 meese?

Doesn't it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend.  If you have a bunch of odds and ends and get rid of all but one of them, what do you call it?  Is it an odd, or an end?

If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught?  If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?  In what language do people recite at a play and play at a recital?  Ship by truck and send cargo by ship?  Have noses that run and feet that smell?

How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites?

You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language in which your house can burn up as it burns down, in which you fill in a form by filling it out, and in which, an alarm goes off by going on.

English was invented by people, not computers, and it reflects the creativity of the human race, which, of course, is not a race at all. That is why, when the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible.

Proving God Exists

Many times, I see comments about people saying, prove God exists. Or that God doesn't exist. I find this ludicrous due to what I was taught and have taught. In fact, it's so simple that I'm surprised many haven't reached this conclusion. Or... maybe many already know this and that's why their belief is unshakable.

First, let me clarify the term God, which is the word I will use in order to simplify things. In monotheistic religions, it is considered the "creator and ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority; the supreme being." In certain other religions, it is a "superhuman being or spirit worshiped as having power over nature or human fortunes; a deity." In addition, I decided to use the pronoun "it" due to my belief that this Creator God can be spirit but can, also, take on any male, female or androgynous form.

Now, as far as proof. First, one must understand emotions. This is an important step because it provides the necessary tool needed. Every being has emotions. To keep it simple, I will use only human emotions. We often call this the spirit or soul of a person, but it is what we emit throughout our life. We can often tap into that emotional energy, while we're around someone, who's expressing their emotions/feelings via sorrow or joy, for instance. However, there are people, like me, who are trained to tap into emotions of those not physically present. These people are often called empaths, among other names. I tend to use metaphysician, because of my training.

So, we're dealing with the subject of emotions and tapping into them. Or, in this case, one being in particular... the original soul. This knowledge, of an original being, has been discussed among scholars for eons. So, it would stand to reason that this being would, obviously, have a soul/emotions as any of us do. Right? If it's real?

The next step, for proof, would be seeking the emotional truth in the universe of this original being and allowing this truth to guide you to it. As the saying goes: ask and you shall receive. Then, it's a matter of sensing the truth from this being's "emotions" to "allow proof" that this is the only one that the universe recognizes as the original spirit/soul... God. Because, as I was taught, many years ago, words can lie but emotions don't. Seek the truth through emotions.

Once, you achieve these steps, you'll have your proof. You see, as I've told my students, I can give you the steps to prove it, but you'll have to do the work. Of course, you can be like many on this planet, who feel and accept this truth, unconsciously, or may have blind faith. I was never much into blind faith; I wanted proof.
