Psychic Healer: Ethics and Awareness

Here's another reminder how we set ourselves up for failure due to ego. It's why I decided to share a conversation (below) where a friend of a friend, apparently, got a tad irritated with me for sharing my awareness and blocked me. Let me explain further. A friend posted a question on social media about how much should someone charge for healing energy work. She also commented that she had been going through psychic attacks for a few years with no relief - no matter what she did. I know this, personally, because we have talked a few times about what she was going though. As a metaphysical teacher, I offered free advice in what she could learn - in order to help herself - to empower her. I had also advised her, in private, to be careful of any healer (or exorcist) who couldn't prove their worth. This warning was due to people writing me about the ones they've encountered who were unscrupulous.

In addition, she had posted a link for someone she was interested in but said she was very expensive. To me, price is important but so is the service provided as well as the results. Don't say you can do something and then not do it, much less keep gouging (or blaming) your client. The worse case of gouging I had ever heard was years ago when a woman wrote me that she had spent over 10,000 dollars with a psychic healer and with no results. Unbelievable!

Anyway, I digress. My initial reply to her post was in regards to her concern about spending money and sensing she didn't want to be taken advantage of due to this person's high fees as well as stating nothing in the past had worked for her. This led me into a conversation with another person regarding healing ethics and awareness. I don't think he appreciated my education, versus his, because the discussion ended with his blocking me. Why? I felt my comments were logical and presented in a very unemotional and non-threatening manner, as they generally are when I'm sharing what I've been taught.

I'm glad I still had his replies, via emails, to capture them for this blog. Hopefully, by sharing our conversation, it will help those who are seriously wanting to help others. There are many things that need to be understood. Many! One of them is not displaying a knee jerk reaction while discussing any differences in metaphysical awareness. How does this educate anyone? If my awareness is different from another's, I feel discussing both helps open the door of understanding, not by running from it. In fact, that's how I learned - by questioning everything until I was satisfied with the answers. It had to add up - make sense - be logical. Anytime, I can learn a more efficient or more thorough way, I feel blessed not threatened.

~~~~~ Conversation
Me: I look at it this way, we buy products with a return guarantee if it doesn't work. If you go anywhere with anyone, you should have it in writing that your money will be refunded if it doesn't do the job. Just a suggestion.
He: I'd say this is subjective. Not if the product doesn't work because of the client. If the client pays, I do the work, and they block themselves from being healed or allowing the treatment to effect them. It's not the providers fault.
You'd be amazed at how many "non-believers" will pay for a treatment to see if it works. Hence why I won't take on that kind of client.
And some holistic results take time. Eastern medicine and holistic approaches are not band aids or quick fixes. To many variables for your question to have a simple answer.
Me: Then the person isn't good at their job because they would have asked the universe permission before beginning. Hence no errors anywhere. Job done. Everyone's happy.
He: A client can grant permission AND block themselves.
Not the practitioners fault. Which is why one should not treat someone closed off REGARDLESS of permission.
Me: Even a licensed doctor would know their drawbacks and guarantees (or none) but miracles have been known to happen.
Too many times I've heard it's the person's fault and never the practitioner. Seriously? Sounds like a flaw to me. Not getting the right permission. That would be like a doctor operating blind. Sets one up for malpractice then.
He: l'm not sure judging someone's ability is the best way to apron this either.
Doctors are different. Energy work is different. Reiki is universal divine energy. I am a humble vessel or conduit. It flows through me and does what it needs to do. It is not my place to tell the divine what to do. If that doesn't work for you, you don't have to go to an energy worker. It's quite simple. Energy work should never and could never hurt anyone.
Me: Which is why I said if you ask universal permission, everyone's on the same plate for using that divine energy for healing. That's what I was taught by my teachers. They're not from here. It was the first thing I was taught because not all answers to prayers will be positive.
He: Sure. And all I am saying is that humans can block themselves from receiving even while giving verbal permission. That's all.
And I agree. Not all answers are deemed "positive" due to general human perspectives.
Me: It's illogical to think that someone gave permission and then blocked their healing. It's not always the person but could be someone around them. That's who I would direct my thoughts to when it came to asking permission too. What if their guide says no because this was a major lesson they needed? Something they may have chosen before coming here. Lots of things to consider why someone is blocked.
He: Or maybe it's none of our business why their experience is the way it is because we're just supposed to be there for them to either provide or not provide. But I feel like this discussion will never end because you need to be right while I am simply trying to have a conversation. So I will and my participation here knowing that you will continue to do the good work that you do and I will continue to do the good work that I do regardless of who is right or wrong in their work.
Me: Hmmm. I thought I too was having a conversation but being judge by you in needing to be right. Interesting. Our universal guidance is definitely different.
He: Not to mention the fact that you have steered this conversation SO far from her question that you have buried her intention away from its original intent. Enjoy your evening.
Me: Which isn't true either.
He: Apparently so. Apparently it is. Interesting that we are both hearing judgement on each other's responses.... Hmmmmm
About pricing? Yeah. Ok. Love and light to you.
Me: My original comment stands. You intercepted it. People should be weighed on their merits. I wouldn't hire any professional with a bad reputation or wanting to steal my money. It's the right thing to do. We need more metaphysical  people who feel this way. We would have less ego issues within it. Working together as a team instead of egotistically opposing another. That's why this profession fails and is constantly mocked.
Hugs and peace to you and yours.
He: Well there we agree. I personally see a vast difference in your original statement and your last one. Together as a team sounds lovely.
Me: It's really not a difference if you think about it. It still dealing with those who choose to take another's money when they, as enlightened beings, will not be able to help in any way due to universal awareness or interference. Yet, will they take their money still or offer refund if they err? They may blame their victim in being the cause of the problem to avoid responsibility. They are the ones who create problems by undermining the good being done by others. But, isn't that the way it is generally?
No need to respond or agree. Just throwing it out there.
He: no need - (Meaning I didn't need to throw it out there - then he blocked me.)
Me: Sorry _______ (friend), I guess ________ (he) decided to delete his responses and/or block me. Bad form, since I thought I was only sharing what I've learned. I also thought that being  respectful and sharing was part of opening our awareness and removing ego to help us be more educated - more open minded. Even a mild debate helps educate us but some tend to get their feelings hurt even with that. Makes me wonder why. Must have hit a nerve. However after getting tons of emails from people, over many years, who have been gouged by unscrupulous "psychic healers," I think it's only appropriate to start believing that something's not working and try to figure out why. Maybe it's only people scamming those who need help the most, which makes it bad for the good ones who are trying to seriously help. Sadly, this can be in any profession. You'll just have to follow your intuition and hope for the best.  Hugs ♡
Friend: Quite the intense discussion! Wasn't expecting all that. :p
Me: Well, you know how I feel about people who say they provide a lot and give nothing. Then blame their "patient" in order to take the blame off of them. I don't even like that when a medical professional isn't honest. At least, lay the cards on the table, be honest, so I can make a proper decision for my wellbeing.
~~~~~ End

So there you have it. I've come to realize that in nearly 30 years of learning this metaphysical awareness, and through personal experience, that we don't know everything and sharing our awareness, as in any profession, is important. Many times, it's not the questions we're asking but the questions we don't know to ask. It's why I advise people to join support groups and suggest to all my like-minded friends that we are all pieces of the puzzle when it comes to helping one another. Each person may have that one piece in solving the complete picture.

When our ego gets in the way, we shut down and that's why we fail. We fail because we give our power away to others to heal us but blame them when they don't. We fail because healers, any form of healers, are often limited in knowledge but blame the patient for their lack of success: "he was too far gone." We fail because we allow our ego to block awareness from another because they don't fit in some stereotypical image we have mentally formed of a spiritual teacher. We fail on purpose, unconsciously sabotaging ourselves, because we don't want to live forever in the same body.

The door closes - the light goes out - life goes on - better luck next time. Maybe.

Soul Truth

I've been thinking about this subject for a few days and decided to share it. From what I've learned, our soul is our essence. It represents our identity, which makes us who we truly are. It is the core of our memory, feelings, imagination, convictions, desires, and affections.

To me, it often holds more value than any physical appearance. In fact, in all the years that I was making my metaphysical videos, many times I'd answer emails, messages or comments, without knowing or caring about someone's looks.

Obviously, these people came in all shapes and sizes, body markings/piercings, and various races. They may have been poor, wealthy, well dressed or slovenly. It didn't matter, because reading their soul was more important. I wanted to know if they were legit or not.

Of course, it's no secret that many of us know how to read people. I've even seen children do it, probably better than most adults. We know when someone's being funny or serious. We can often sense when someone's BS-ing or lying to us, even if we can't always prove it. We sense danger or know when something's not adding up. Many of us can even sense those who want to lead us down a pernicious path.

To make a very long story short, what my metaphysical teachers taught me was how to take it to the next level... sensing God's truth or universal truth. I was taught words can be deceptive but emotions don't lie. That our soul truth didn't always align with universal truth... good or bad. I was taught about telepathy and how our minds can be blocked and why. Were they my feelings or someone else's? I wanted to understand this and more because I'm a questioner and don't like being gullible or used.

In other words, if God could talk to people in the Bible, why not me?

If God has a soul, couldn't we read it, too?

If Jesus could teach his disciples, couldn't anyone learn today?

Are all the things we read in religious text true?

My inquiring mind wanted to know these soul truths, whatever they may be. It took years and a painful path, but I got my answers.

Grace of God

If you ever feel your life is overwhelming, try watching another's. I've often found my troubles are minimal when I see another, or others, who may be worse off.

Seriously, it puts things in perspective.

One night, back in the early ninties, I was watching the evening news and my oldest daughter asked me how did I do it? How could I've gone through all I've have, and still was, without being an emotional wreck and constantly in tears?

I looked at her and said: By watching the news. Just when I thought I was at a breaking point and going to have a pity party, God would show me how well off I really was compared to another.

Like the saying... "there but for the Grace of God go I."

Of course, this wasn't to undermine my hurt and pain, but to help me understand that it could be worse. It would help me create feelings of compassion and gratitude instead of self-pity and anger.

Worth: Universal Players

I'm constantly reminding people of their worth by telling them that everyone has a purpose here or they wouldn't be here. Like stars in the universe, they fill a needed void with their existence, even if they haven't found the reason behind it yet.

Be patient... timing is important. No answer doesn't mean it's a bad answer.

Today, in meditation, guidance reminded me to remember that this is true in many aspects of life. Many times, what we see as something bad may have a higher order behind it. A possible check and balance in the system. Something we haven't been made aware of yet. Possibly, the good of the one, or few, outweighing the good of all.

It reminded me of the Taoist farmer and horse story... to not assume something is bad... or good.

Even if we are not privy to an immediate understanding, it doesn't make it less valid. We are all privy in asking. Even if we may not like the answer, it's still there for us.

I was also reminded, with the reasoning of "everyone has a place to fill," that if we don't want our place negated, we should think about another's place, the part they are playing, and the reason for it.

The easiest way to quell frustration, over something we feel, is to ask that question: if I'm here to fill a void for a general or higher purpose, wouldn't everyone be too? And if so... what is it?

It's important to be impeccable in questioning things in order to get the best results.

They said that most won't ask though... some relish their frustrations, anger or "woe is me," as opposed to knowing the answer.

I felt that it's because they may already know the answer, deep down inside, and just don't want to hear it spoken or don't want to acknowledge their part in the universe.

My meditation this morning also reminded me once again how powerful our collective thoughts can be in manifesting things and to be careful what we request. It may not be as we expected because we don't always know the part we are playing in the universe.

PS: this blog was originally published on 5/31/2014 which included a bad link about the Taoist Farmer that caused the post to be removed by Blogger but I was asked to fix it and republish it. I removed the link because anyone can find this story on the internet.

6th Generation Warfare?

One of my friends shared a short video of a gentleman discussing 5th Generation Warfare. It was intriguing enough for me to investigate further.

The internet has all the generations of warfare in detail, but this is a summary of the fifth one: "Fifth-generation warfare is conducted primarily through non-kinetic military action, such as social engineering, misinformation, and cyberattacks, along with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and fully autonomous systems."

Years ago, I wrote several blogs about Mind Warfare. The first one was in 2012 because of seeing a video of a Russian whistle blower discussing using mind power as a means of warfare.

He said that the Russians were studying astral projections and mind control, for the purpose of a new way of warfare... mind warfare. He also mentioned they were learning to take down the US with mind control by creating thoughts in our minds and making us believe it was our own idea (subjected thought).

You would think this sounds futuristic, as in Darth Vader and Jedi stuff, but, apparently, the future is here and has been. Maybe not quite the extent of the Star Wars characters, but the US, and other countries, are well aware of psychic mind control. We would be deluding ourselves to think anything less.

Eventually, this may be called 6th Generation Warfare. Time will tell.

Truth Comforter

This morning, I was thinking about someone calling me a Comforter, many years ago, because I helped her with a problem she was experiencing.

I decided to research it and found this comment. "Comforter: (John 14:16-17 ) The name given by Christ to the Holy Spirit. The original word is Paraclete and means first Advocate, a defender, helper, strengthener, as well as comforter."

So, that had me looking up John 14:16-17 (see picture).

Then I found this comment about the meaning of John 14:16-17. "After dying on the cross for their sins, he would rise again and ascend into heaven, at which point he will send the comforter, the Holy Spirit, the advocate, to help them and to be with them forever. In this way, Jesus will be with them until the end of the age."

Jesus said: "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32).

Does this mean that "truth" is the comforter? Whatever that may be. Of course, we may not want to hear/know it. That can happen, too.

Maybe it's why so many are in turmoil today. Deep down inside they know the truth - the wisdom of the holy spirit - but don't want to listen to it.

Very, very interesting. 🕊

Make It Make Sense!

Over the last few years, I've seen many people, including myself, say: make it make sense.

After meditating on the numerous things that's caused us to exclaim this, I've come to the realization it seems it's due mainly to two things... envy and hate.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn once said: "Our envy of others devours us most of all." And that's what I've been seeing in the world, a devouring of ourselves.

Now, that's not saying everyone. There are still many who know how to love themselves and are logical enough to see past the negative energy around them. Especially to avoid being brought into another's cult of fantasy, deception, and self-destructive personalities.

Think about that path of envy to hate personalities.

Did envy lead to hate of those who wanted to pretend they were a minority in order to receive the benefits a minority was receiving?

Did envy lead to hate of those pretending they were someone or something other than what their mirror was reflecting?

Did envy lead to hate of those professing it wasn't right to steal another's race and culture as they began to hypocritically steal another's race and culture?

Did envy lead to hate of those who demanded that we stop discrimination as they systematically began to discriminate?

I could go on but I believe you get the picture. We are seeing their envy and hate devouring themselves. But, they can't stop at that. They have to justify their actions by trying to bring others into their black hole of self destruction?

Love and understanding may be their salvation, but not while they, continually, wear envy and hate blinders. Not while they stick their fingers in their ears while screaming... you're not listening!

All anyone can do is kindly, but firmly, present the logic within the illogical and pray the light of reasoning breaks through their darkness. However... pick your battles wisely as their darkness may be more than you can bare.

Cultural Appropriation Hypocrisy

So much hypocrisy from those who want to point out cultural appropriation but don't want to look in their own mirror. With the recent decision of making Belle black (Beauty and the Beast) and the Ariel (Little Mermaid) also black, I got to thinking of other areas where black people have "appropriated" white culture.

For instance: "In 1978, the movie 'The Wiz' was produced with an all-black cast. This was an adaptation of the white 1900 children's novel the wonderful wizard of Oz, written by L. Frank Baum. Also, Annie Live! is a musical television special that aired on December 2, 2021. It was a 1977 musical Annie performance based on the comic strip Little Orphan Annie by Harold Gray. Called an adaptation; this could be interpreted as Black Cultural appropriation of white culture."

Which is why all this "appropriation" stuff is crazy. I've always felt that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. People should be more inclusive, understanding and kinder about different cultures, not so selfishly devisive. It's why I like traveling so I can learn more about other cultures. Now, I can't even cook or enjoy Spanish or Eastern food because it's not appropriate? Does that mean that Asian people are not allowed to look like Europeans? Or, blacks are the only ones allowed to sing soul music or rap? Seriously! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyway, back when they made the Wiz, I never gave it any thought that it was offensive or cultural appropriation. I enjoyed watching it. But then, I hadn't had years of media and political brainwashing telling me I should be offended by every little thing.

Of course, I do draw the line on anyone's culture or ideology that involves molestation of anyone or anything, especially children. I think everyone, everywhere, should be offended by that.

But, be warned, if you do anything with the idea that it's only to get even or with an "in your face" attitude, I'm sure many will sense that and not give you their time or money. Appropriately so.

Phantosmia

Science gives it the name of phantosmia, meaning a phantom odor. But they ignore the phantom part, meaning ghost/spirit. Is this science denial? A refusal to see beyond the physical for answers? If so, why?

Definition: "The phantom smell may seem to always be there or it may come and go. Phantosmia may be caused by a head injury or upper respiratory infection. It can also be caused by aging, trauma, temporal lobe seizures, inflamed sinuses, brain tumors, certain medications and Parkinson's disease."

Anyway, I know it can be done by the unseen, because I've been subject to it while "hearing" the reasons. I've had good and bad smells. In metaphysics, they say the smell of flowers is angel communication, a deceased family member, or the presence of God. It stands to reason that there are those who may want to torment others by bad odors (that good and bad thing). But, you can receive guidance via the five senses. In the sense of smell, it’s called clairolfaction.

One of my most profound odor experiences, I wrote about in my book, Great Flame Within. I had been under a horrendous psychic attack and Jesus came to me to help. He put an odor under my nose of a cologne I wore back then called Obsession.

Now, I'm not promoting my book or the cologne, I'm just saying that, apparently, some things still seem to be outside our current scientists' awareness. Maybe we should be investigating or understanding that dimension,.

Because, as a South American Shaman once said: all illness is spirit, yours or another's.

I Don't Live in the Past...

This morning, I was reading some comments about the Bible said this and the Bible said that. I was thinking about these stories of the past, as well as other religious books and their stories that I've read over the years.

From them, we've learned that these are the foundation stones upon which our spiritual insights are based, but we don't live today as they did back then. In many areas, around our planet, we are a very advanced society today, because of science and technology. Hopefully, we will continue advancing into our future, because life is all about change.

Of course, this doesn't mean we still can't live by the Golden Rule, which I believe is the main rule from what we've, hopefully, learned from many of these religious and historical stories. We can have advancements but we should still try and treat others as we want to be treated... as humanly possible.

Anyway, as I was reading comments and trying to justify past and present, I heard: If I don't want my children living in the past, what makes anyone think I am?

I believe I got my answer.
