New Age "Looking Within"? Not Always...

I have deliberated on this New Age expression - "look within," or "the answers are within," referring to our souls and enlightenment. Not really! Not true!

It depends on the soul and what it has within it. Not all souls are "full" of age and wisdom to help them, just as children need parents and teachers for guidance, so will those seeking a higher awareness ... any higher awareness.

If it's not "within" them, then how will they know they're supposed to be seeking ... whatever? They will still be guided by what's in their soul and outer influences.

Sure, we can share our wisdom but we should not be angry because they don't chose our path ... whatever that path is ... whether it be farming, teaching, media, engineering, community service, dietitian, electronics, ranching, or saving the world in whatever direction "they" are being called to do.

Keep putting out your words and appreciate those that jump on your bandwagon and release the others with love. One day your words will fall on the ears of those that are interested and they will allow you to show them what they don't have within but are finally wishing to learn.

In the meantime .... let your soul shine on and look everywhere for wisdom ... it's not always within.

  1. Does inner wisdom come from past lives? If so, is it possible that some life lessons stick with us to the present day? Do behaviours from past lives also recur in the present?

  2. Yes, inner wisdom can come from past lives or something that occurred in this life. Sometimes we may repeat something because the lesson may not have been strong enough from before. Instinct can guide us but it depends on how strong the experiences were before. Also, if young, and not wanting to have too many "harsh" occurrences in life, we have guidance to help. Guidance can be in many forms as in family, friends or angelic.
