Change is Good?

My astrology sign is Taurus, which tends to dislike change. We value stability, routine, and comfort, and can be quite resistant to new situations or disruptions.

However, being a Navy dependent, I had to learn to evaluate the need for change and understand that the status quo wasn't always prudent. After time, I learned to appreciate that change can be beneficial albeit chaotic.

Did I like all that relocating while growing up? Absolutely not! But then, one day, I decided that I needed to see things in a different light. That a change in the status quo could be okay. It kept me from being set in my ways, from being stagnant, and from being closed-minded.

However, my deeper core principles didn't seem to waiver. I think it only changed me in the things that needed a bigger perspective. Because, Taurus individuals are generally considered very logical and grounded. We tend to be practical, methodical, and prefer to thoroughly evaluate situations before making decisions.

This is what I've done and what I've come to understand about President Trump. He often challenges the status quo as a core part of his populist political approach, appealing to voters who feel the existing system has failed them. His actions and rhetoric frequently aim to disrupt established norms in domestic and foreign policy, including trade agreements, international alliances, and traditional political processes.

He is answering the call of those who feel a change is desperately needed, for whatever the reasons. He stirs things up and then waits to see how the dust settles or the cards land. Some things may change completely or very little, but there will be a change.

Because, as the ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus famously stated, "There is nothing permanent except change." And, for the six years that I worked for Disney, every day we were told that change is good, because Walt Disney believed that "progress is impossible without change"

Demographics: Invasions and Conquering

I was reading about the amount of "illegals" coming into our country and how it's being, intentionally, done to change out the demographics. Well, that part is nothing new. Many countries have had that for centuries.

Lately, my feelings about this "invasion" is more of a deliberate conquering of our country. Of course, that's nothing new either. Because, throughout history, there have been conquering of lands and people. The less noticeable way seems to be the Trojan Horse method of conquering from within.

For instance, some people, from south of our border, may arrive illegally just to conquer us via drugs. China buys up businesses and lands here with the intent on taking over. Investments with foreign nationals sways our media and more.

And let's not forget the religious and socialists fanatics who keep perpetuating their ideology from within our nation.

It's a never-ending story. It's survival of the fittest and, from what I've seen of the dummying down of Western Civilization, I'm sure we're on the chopping block. Maybe not in my lifetime but it WILL occur at this current projection.

And, just think, maybe it will be an "alien" invasion and conquering next. Did we "allow" that too? I wonder how that will change our demographics? 🤔

There's always something. 😉

All Else Is Madness

I've always appreciated this quote from Eckhart Tolle because complaining is in our nature to do. It's to point out a disappointing situation that we want to change. But I've learned that complaints may never change a situation unless we know how to achieve a positive outcome.

For one, we can do this by using empathy to promote compassion, but we should be prepared to share how a situation should be changed by suggesting a solution.

I learned this back in the 70s when an employer asked me - "well, what are you going to do about it?" - when I came into his office with a complaint. It took me by surprise but, many years later, it made me realize that he was preventing me from being a victim. By being involved with a solution to a problem, he was empowering me.

Also, through lifetime observations, I've learned that people tend to shut down from listening when the complaints are in a negative format with no solutions presented... as in riots/protests/bullies. You know that saying... talk to the hand.

However, if the empathy and solution sharing doesn't create the change we require, than it's time to realize that it wasn't meant to be. We only have two things left to do... accept or leave the situation. Because, truly, all else is madness.

Civilian Casualties - Collateral Damage

Recently, a family member and I were discussing the atrocities of civilian casualties in wars. It was mostly regarding the current Israel/Gaza War. We didn't discuss the others, past or present, even though there are civilian casualties in those, too. I explained that, unfortunately, it was a very sad situation but it does happen.

In fact, I used WWII as a major example of mass civilian casualties. Here's what courses-lumen-learning said about it: "Some 75 million people died in World War II, including about 20 million military personnel and 40 million civilians, many of whom died because of deliberate genocide, massacres, mass-bombings, disease, and starvation."

The United States was hesitant about getting involved in the war, but what else could they do after Pearl Harbor was attacked? The day after, the USA declared war and it wasn't until the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that helped end it. Some say over 200,000 people were killed in those two bombings, many of whom were civilians.

My dad was nearby those two areas. He was stationed on board a ship that sailed to Okinawa during WWII. I learned that "100,000 Okinawan men, women, and children perished in the fighting or committed suicide."

It may seem heartless that my dad was there and civilians died. I'm pretty sure he didn't want to be there, but knew death was part of war and only wanted to get home alive. I'm glad he did.

He left Okinawa in February 1946. The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki took place in August 1945, about 400 to 600 plus miles north of where he was. No telling how much longer the war would have lasted, and how many more would have died, without resorting to those extreme measures.

He wasn't involved in the Korean War. He didn't re-enlist until it was almost over. But he was in the Vietnam War. I read it's where the term "collateral damage" was first used for civilian casualty. Sadly, civilians, throughout history, are sacrificed due to warmongering leaders. Civilians have only had a few choices: leave, surrender, or fight back.

Of course, what side of the fence one is on will have people declaring who's right or wrong and who's good or bad. Also, the "he (she) started it first" is ad infinitum, along with twisted truths. About thirty years after WWII was over, I met a man who still despised the Japanese and wondered how many still despised us.

So many wars... so much hate. You would think we've reached a time in history to say enough is enough...  let's live in peace... without resorting to more and more casualties... more extreme warfare.... more inhumane atrocities. But, I guess not.

I'm sure it's because some truly believe their rewards will be in heaven.

Good luck with that.

Psychic Healer: Ethics and Awareness

Here's another reminder how we set ourselves up for failure due to ego. It's why I decided to share a conversation (below) where a friend of a friend, apparently, got a tad irritated with me for sharing my awareness and blocked me. Let me explain further. A friend posted a question on social media about how much should someone charge for healing energy work. She also commented that she had been going through psychic attacks for a few years with no relief - no matter what she did. I know this, personally, because we have talked a few times about what she was going though. As a metaphysical teacher, I offered free advice in what she could learn - in order to help herself - to empower her. I had also advised her, in private, to be careful of any healer (or exorcist) who couldn't prove their worth. This warning was due to people writing me about the ones they've encountered who were unscrupulous.

In addition, she had posted a link for someone she was interested in but said she was very expensive. To me, price is important but so is the service provided as well as the results. Don't say you can do something and then not do it, much less keep gouging (or blaming) your client. The worse case of gouging I had ever heard was years ago when a woman wrote me that she had spent over 10,000 dollars with a psychic healer and with no results. Unbelievable!

Anyway, I digress. My initial reply to her post was in regards to her concern about spending money and sensing she didn't want to be taken advantage of due to this person's high fees as well as stating nothing in the past had worked for her. This led me into a conversation with another person regarding healing ethics and awareness. I don't think he appreciated my education, versus his, because the discussion ended with his blocking me. Why? I felt my comments were logical and presented in a very unemotional and non-threatening manner, as they generally are when I'm sharing what I've been taught.

I'm glad I still had his replies, via emails, to capture them for this blog. Hopefully, by sharing our conversation, it will help those who are seriously wanting to help others. There are many things that need to be understood. Many! One of them is not displaying a knee jerk reaction while discussing any differences in metaphysical awareness. How does this educate anyone? If my awareness is different from another's, I feel discussing both helps open the door of understanding, not by running from it. In fact, that's how I learned - by questioning everything until I was satisfied with the answers. It had to add up - make sense - be logical. Anytime, I can learn a more efficient or more thorough way, I feel blessed not threatened.

~~~~~ Conversation
Me: I look at it this way, we buy products with a return guarantee if it doesn't work. If you go anywhere with anyone, you should have it in writing that your money will be refunded if it doesn't do the job. Just a suggestion.
He: I'd say this is subjective. Not if the product doesn't work because of the client. If the client pays, I do the work, and they block themselves from being healed or allowing the treatment to effect them. It's not the providers fault.
You'd be amazed at how many "non-believers" will pay for a treatment to see if it works. Hence why I won't take on that kind of client.
And some holistic results take time. Eastern medicine and holistic approaches are not band aids or quick fixes. To many variables for your question to have a simple answer.
Me: Then the person isn't good at their job because they would have asked the universe permission before beginning. Hence no errors anywhere. Job done. Everyone's happy.
He: A client can grant permission AND block themselves.
Not the practitioners fault. Which is why one should not treat someone closed off REGARDLESS of permission.
Me: Even a licensed doctor would know their drawbacks and guarantees (or none) but miracles have been known to happen.
Too many times I've heard it's the person's fault and never the practitioner. Seriously? Sounds like a flaw to me. Not getting the right permission. That would be like a doctor operating blind. Sets one up for malpractice then.
He: l'm not sure judging someone's ability is the best way to apron this either.
Doctors are different. Energy work is different. Reiki is universal divine energy. I am a humble vessel or conduit. It flows through me and does what it needs to do. It is not my place to tell the divine what to do. If that doesn't work for you, you don't have to go to an energy worker. It's quite simple. Energy work should never and could never hurt anyone.
Me: Which is why I said if you ask universal permission, everyone's on the same plate for using that divine energy for healing. That's what I was taught by my teachers. They're not from here. It was the first thing I was taught because not all answers to prayers will be positive.
He: Sure. And all I am saying is that humans can block themselves from receiving even while giving verbal permission. That's all.
And I agree. Not all answers are deemed "positive" due to general human perspectives.
Me: It's illogical to think that someone gave permission and then blocked their healing. It's not always the person but could be someone around them. That's who I would direct my thoughts to when it came to asking permission too. What if their guide says no because this was a major lesson they needed? Something they may have chosen before coming here. Lots of things to consider why someone is blocked.
He: Or maybe it's none of our business why their experience is the way it is because we're just supposed to be there for them to either provide or not provide. But I feel like this discussion will never end because you need to be right while I am simply trying to have a conversation. So I will and my participation here knowing that you will continue to do the good work that you do and I will continue to do the good work that I do regardless of who is right or wrong in their work.
Me: Hmmm. I thought I too was having a conversation but being judge by you in needing to be right. Interesting. Our universal guidance is definitely different.
He: Not to mention the fact that you have steered this conversation SO far from her question that you have buried her intention away from its original intent. Enjoy your evening.
Me: Which isn't true either.
He: Apparently so. Apparently it is. Interesting that we are both hearing judgement on each other's responses.... Hmmmmm
About pricing? Yeah. Ok. Love and light to you.
Me: My original comment stands. You intercepted it. People should be weighed on their merits. I wouldn't hire any professional with a bad reputation or wanting to steal my money. It's the right thing to do. We need more metaphysical  people who feel this way. We would have less ego issues within it. Working together as a team instead of egotistically opposing another. That's why this profession fails and is constantly mocked.
Hugs and peace to you and yours.
He: Well there we agree. I personally see a vast difference in your original statement and your last one. Together as a team sounds lovely.
Me: It's really not a difference if you think about it. It still dealing with those who choose to take another's money when they, as enlightened beings, will not be able to help in any way due to universal awareness or interference. Yet, will they take their money still or offer refund if they err? They may blame their victim in being the cause of the problem to avoid responsibility. They are the ones who create problems by undermining the good being done by others. But, isn't that the way it is generally?
No need to respond or agree. Just throwing it out there.
He: no need - (Meaning I didn't need to throw it out there - then he blocked me.)
Me: Sorry _______ (friend), I guess ________ (he) decided to delete his responses and/or block me. Bad form, since I thought I was only sharing what I've learned. I also thought that being  respectful and sharing was part of opening our awareness and removing ego to help us be more educated - more open minded. Even a mild debate helps educate us but some tend to get their feelings hurt even with that. Makes me wonder why. Must have hit a nerve. However after getting tons of emails from people, over many years, who have been gouged by unscrupulous "psychic healers," I think it's only appropriate to start believing that something's not working and try to figure out why. Maybe it's only people scamming those who need help the most, which makes it bad for the good ones who are trying to seriously help. Sadly, this can be in any profession. You'll just have to follow your intuition and hope for the best.  Hugs ♡
Friend: Quite the intense discussion! Wasn't expecting all that. :p
Me: Well, you know how I feel about people who say they provide a lot and give nothing. Then blame their "patient" in order to take the blame off of them. I don't even like that when a medical professional isn't honest. At least, lay the cards on the table, be honest, so I can make a proper decision for my wellbeing.
~~~~~ End

So there you have it. I've come to realize that in nearly 30 years of learning this metaphysical awareness, and through personal experience, that we don't know everything and sharing our awareness, as in any profession, is important. Many times, it's not the questions we're asking but the questions we don't know to ask. It's why I advise people to join support groups and suggest to all my like-minded friends that we are all pieces of the puzzle when it comes to helping one another. Each person may have that one piece in solving the complete picture.

When our ego gets in the way, we shut down and that's why we fail. We fail because we give our power away to others to heal us but blame them when they don't. We fail because healers, any form of healers, are often limited in knowledge but blame the patient for their lack of success: "he was too far gone." We fail because we allow our ego to block awareness from another because they don't fit in some stereotypical image we have mentally formed of a spiritual teacher. We fail on purpose, unconsciously sabotaging ourselves, because we don't want to live forever in the same body.

The door closes - the light goes out - life goes on - better luck next time. Maybe.

Soul Truth

I've been thinking about this subject for a few days and decided to share it. From what I've learned, our soul is our essence. It represents our identity, which makes us who we truly are. It is the core of our memory, feelings, imagination, convictions, desires, and affections.

To me, it often holds more value than any physical appearance. In fact, in all the years that I was making my metaphysical videos, many times I'd answer emails, messages or comments, without knowing or caring about someone's looks.

Obviously, these people came in all shapes and sizes, body markings/piercings, and various races. They may have been poor, wealthy, well dressed or slovenly. It didn't matter, because reading their soul was more important. I wanted to know if they were legit or not.

Of course, it's no secret that many of us know how to read people. I've even seen children do it, probably better than most adults. We know when someone's being funny or serious. We can often sense when someone's BS-ing or lying to us, even if we can't always prove it. We sense danger or know when something's not adding up. Many of us can even sense those who want to lead us down a pernicious path.

To make a very long story short, what my metaphysical teachers taught me was how to take it to the next level... sensing God's truth or universal truth. I was taught words can be deceptive but emotions don't lie. That our soul truth didn't always align with universal truth... good or bad. I was taught about telepathy and how our minds can be blocked and why. Were they my feelings or someone else's? I wanted to understand this and more because I'm a questioner and don't like being gullible or used.

In other words, if God could talk to people in the Bible, why not me?

If God has a soul, couldn't we read it, too?

If Jesus could teach his disciples, couldn't anyone learn today?

Are all the things we read in religious text true?

My inquiring mind wanted to know these soul truths, whatever they may be. It took years and a painful path, but I got my answers.

Grace of God

If you ever feel your life is overwhelming, try watching another's. I've often found my troubles are minimal when I see another, or others, who may be worse off.

Seriously, it puts things in perspective.

One night, back in the early ninties, I was watching the evening news and my oldest daughter asked me how did I do it? How could I've gone through all I've have, and still was, without being an emotional wreck and constantly in tears?

I looked at her and said: By watching the news. Just when I thought I was at a breaking point and going to have a pity party, God would show me how well off I really was compared to another.

Like the saying... "there but for the Grace of God go I."

Of course, this wasn't to undermine my hurt and pain, but to help me understand that it could be worse. It would help me create feelings of compassion and gratitude instead of self-pity and anger.

Worth: Universal Players

I'm constantly reminding people of their worth by telling them that everyone has a purpose here or they wouldn't be here. Like stars in the universe, they fill a needed void with their existence, even if they haven't found the reason behind it yet.

Be patient... timing is important. No answer doesn't mean it's a bad answer.

Today, in meditation, guidance reminded me to remember that this is true in many aspects of life. Many times, what we see as something bad may have a higher order behind it. A possible check and balance in the system. Something we haven't been made aware of yet. Possibly, the good of the one, or few, outweighing the good of all.

It reminded me of the Taoist farmer and horse story... to not assume something is bad... or good.

Even if we are not privy to an immediate understanding, it doesn't make it less valid. We are all privy in asking. Even if we may not like the answer, it's still there for us.

I was also reminded, with the reasoning of "everyone has a place to fill," that if we don't want our place negated, we should think about another's place, the part they are playing, and the reason for it.

The easiest way to quell frustration, over something we feel, is to ask that question: if I'm here to fill a void for a general or higher purpose, wouldn't everyone be too? And if so... what is it?

It's important to be impeccable in questioning things in order to get the best results.

They said that most won't ask though... some relish their frustrations, anger or "woe is me," as opposed to knowing the answer.

I felt that it's because they may already know the answer, deep down inside, and just don't want to hear it spoken or don't want to acknowledge their part in the universe.

My meditation this morning also reminded me once again how powerful our collective thoughts can be in manifesting things and to be careful what we request. It may not be as we expected because we don't always know the part we are playing in the universe.

PS: this blog was originally published on 5/31/2014 which included a bad link about the Taoist Farmer that caused the post to be removed by Blogger but I was asked to fix it and republish it. I removed the link because anyone can find this story on the internet.

6th Generation Warfare?

One of my friends shared a short video of a gentleman discussing 5th Generation Warfare. It was intriguing enough for me to investigate further.

The internet has all the generations of warfare in detail, but this is a summary of the fifth one: "Fifth-generation warfare is conducted primarily through non-kinetic military action, such as social engineering, misinformation, and cyberattacks, along with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and fully autonomous systems."

Years ago, I wrote several blogs about Mind Warfare. The first one was in 2012 because of seeing a video of a Russian whistle blower discussing using mind power as a means of warfare.

He said that the Russians were studying astral projections and mind control, for the purpose of a new way of warfare... mind warfare. He also mentioned they were learning to take down the US with mind control by creating thoughts in our minds and making us believe it was our own idea (subjected thought).

You would think this sounds futuristic, as in Darth Vader and Jedi stuff, but, apparently, the future is here and has been. Maybe not quite the extent of the Star Wars characters, but the US, and other countries, are well aware of psychic mind control. We would be deluding ourselves to think anything less.

Eventually, this may be called 6th Generation Warfare. Time will tell.

Truth Comforter

This morning, I was thinking about someone calling me a Comforter, many years ago, because I helped her with a problem she was experiencing.

I decided to research it and found this comment. "Comforter: (John 14:16-17 ) The name given by Christ to the Holy Spirit. The original word is Paraclete and means first Advocate, a defender, helper, strengthener, as well as comforter."

So, that had me looking up John 14:16-17 (see picture).

Then I found this comment about the meaning of John 14:16-17. "After dying on the cross for their sins, he would rise again and ascend into heaven, at which point he will send the comforter, the Holy Spirit, the advocate, to help them and to be with them forever. In this way, Jesus will be with them until the end of the age."

Jesus said: "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32).

Does this mean that "truth" is the comforter? Whatever that may be. Of course, we may not want to hear/know it. That can happen, too.

Maybe it's why so many are in turmoil today. Deep down inside they know the truth - the wisdom of the holy spirit - but don't want to listen to it.

Very, very interesting. 🕊

Make It Make Sense!

Over the last few years, I've seen many people, including myself, say: make it make sense.

After meditating on the numerous things that's caused us to exclaim this, I've come to the realization it seems it's due mainly to two things... envy and hate.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn once said: "Our envy of others devours us most of all." And that's what I've been seeing in the world, a devouring of ourselves.

Now, that's not saying everyone. There are still many who know how to love themselves and are logical enough to see past the negative energy around them. Especially to avoid being brought into another's cult of fantasy, deception, and self-destructive personalities.

Think about that path of envy to hate personalities.

Did envy lead to hate of those who wanted to pretend they were a minority in order to receive the benefits a minority was receiving?

Did envy lead to hate of those pretending they were someone or something other than what their mirror was reflecting?

Did envy lead to hate of those professing it wasn't right to steal another's race and culture as they began to hypocritically steal another's race and culture?

Did envy lead to hate of those who demanded that we stop discrimination as they systematically began to discriminate?

I could go on but I believe you get the picture. We are seeing their envy and hate devouring themselves. But, they can't stop at that. They have to justify their actions by trying to bring others into their black hole of self destruction?

Love and understanding may be their salvation, but not while they, continually, wear envy and hate blinders. Not while they stick their fingers in their ears while screaming... you're not listening!

All anyone can do is kindly, but firmly, present the logic within the illogical and pray the light of reasoning breaks through their darkness. However... pick your battles wisely as their darkness may be more than you can bare.

Cultural Appropriation Hypocrisy

So much hypocrisy from those who want to point out cultural appropriation but don't want to look in their own mirror. With the recent decision of making Belle black (Beauty and the Beast) and the Ariel (Little Mermaid) also black, I got to thinking of other areas where black people have "appropriated" white culture.

For instance: "In 1978, the movie 'The Wiz' was produced with an all-black cast. This was an adaptation of the white 1900 children's novel the wonderful wizard of Oz, written by L. Frank Baum. Also, Annie Live! is a musical television special that aired on December 2, 2021. It was a 1977 musical Annie performance based on the comic strip Little Orphan Annie by Harold Gray. Called an adaptation; this could be interpreted as Black Cultural appropriation of white culture."

Which is why all this "appropriation" stuff is crazy. I've always felt that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. People should be more inclusive, understanding and kinder about different cultures, not so selfishly devisive. It's why I like traveling so I can learn more about other cultures. Now, I can't even cook or enjoy Spanish or Eastern food because it's not appropriate? Does that mean that Asian people are not allowed to look like Europeans? Or, blacks are the only ones allowed to sing soul music or rap? Seriously! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyway, back when they made the Wiz, I never gave it any thought that it was offensive or cultural appropriation. I enjoyed watching it. But then, I hadn't had years of media and political brainwashing telling me I should be offended by every little thing.

Of course, I do draw the line on anyone's culture or ideology that involves molestation of anyone or anything, especially children. I think everyone, everywhere, should be offended by that.

But, be warned, if you do anything with the idea that it's only to get even or with an "in your face" attitude, I'm sure many will sense that and not give you their time or money. Appropriately so.

Phantosmia

Science gives it the name of phantosmia, meaning a phantom odor. But they ignore the phantom part, meaning ghost/spirit. Is this science denial? A refusal to see beyond the physical for answers? If so, why?

Definition: "The phantom smell may seem to always be there or it may come and go. Phantosmia may be caused by a head injury or upper respiratory infection. It can also be caused by aging, trauma, temporal lobe seizures, inflamed sinuses, brain tumors, certain medications and Parkinson's disease."

Anyway, I know it can be done by the unseen, because I've been subject to it while "hearing" the reasons. I've had good and bad smells. In metaphysics, they say the smell of flowers is angel communication, a deceased family member, or the presence of God. It stands to reason that there are those who may want to torment others by bad odors (that good and bad thing). But, you can receive guidance via the five senses. In the sense of smell, it’s called clairolfaction.

One of my most profound odor experiences, I wrote about in my book, Great Flame Within. I had been under a horrendous psychic attack and Jesus came to me to help. He put an odor under my nose of a cologne I wore back then called Obsession.

Now, I'm not promoting my book or the cologne, I'm just saying that, apparently, some things still seem to be outside our current scientists' awareness. Maybe we should be investigating or understanding that dimension,.

Because, as a South American Shaman once said: all illness is spirit, yours or another's.

I Don't Live in the Past...

This morning, I was reading some comments about the Bible said this and the Bible said that. I was thinking about these stories of the past, as well as other religious books and their stories that I've read over the years.

From them, we've learned that these are the foundation stones upon which our spiritual insights are based, but we don't live today as they did back then. In many areas, around our planet, we are a very advanced society today, because of science and technology. Hopefully, we will continue advancing into our future, because life is all about change.

Of course, this doesn't mean we still can't live by the Golden Rule, which I believe is the main rule from what we've, hopefully, learned from many of these religious and historical stories. We can have advancements but we should still try and treat others as we want to be treated... as humanly possible.

Anyway, as I was reading comments and trying to justify past and present, I heard: If I don't want my children living in the past, what makes anyone think I am?

I believe I got my answer.

Closed Minds

Almost daily we deal with closed-minded thinking, but it shouldn't come from our family or friends.

They should be the people in our life that listen without judging, offering sympathy and advice if needed. They should ask intelligent questions to understand, offer constructive argument to make sure you're doing okay or they're understanding your point of view. They should stimulate your mind with their wisdom... ideas to be discussed openly and reasonably with love not hate.

Anyone who doesn't meet this standard should be allowed to move on with love, but you owe no loyalty to anyone that's carrying a closed-minded ego who wants nothing less but to see you closed-minded too.

Of course, one should not judge others being closed-minded until given ample time to prove it's true. If you deny them your thoughts/feelings, you are the one being closed-minded... not them.

If you judge someone, without given them an option to be enlightened, then you are responsible for closing the door to their minds. If you have the key but refuse to use it, you cannot find fault in anyone but yourself.

Spirit Attachments: Harmful or Harmless?

A long-time spiritual and metaphysical healer once told me that good healing facilitator isn’t attached to outcomes. She had many years of experiences with releasing spirits of all types from people. As she mentioned, "a well-trained spirit communicator isn't concerned over ego or judgments, but only desires truth-seeking for answers. What one does with the answers is up to the individual."

While we were communicating, she brought up the subject of gender issues. She said, "there are many who are in denial that spirit possession and attachments have been found to be one of the causes of gender identification issues, but the literature involving case studies speaks otherwise."

I told her that this was something I had seen also. After I started making my videos, I was contacted by a young man who was having feelings of being a female. The short version to this story is that he gave me permission to investigate. Two major things came up in the many conversations we had. One was that he had been influenced by a drag queen show he went to once. Another one was an influence by his grandmother who he loved very much. This grandmother had passed on but was still around and her energy was prominent. I even suggested that she shouldn't be around him. I advised him of everything that I saw and heard but told him that it was still his decision to fight off the feelings or succumb. I wasn't there to judge but only advise.

If anyone wants to read a more in-depth life evaluation, the below link is what I wrote regarding Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner some years ago.

https://atomaraneadvice.blogspot.com/2015/06/bruce-caitlyn-jenner-mental-battles.html.

As you can see, influences may be from anywhere and anyone for any reason and at any time. Even a loved one crossing over can be an influence to ones' way of life. Not all attachments are extreme to the point of possession either. There are a lot of variables which I've discovered over the years. And, anyone can do an internet search regarding spirit attachments to learn more, as there are numerous experts offering information.

Please keep in mind, we don't live in this world alone. Spirit attachments can be a huge cause of many things. However, a well-trained individual, dealing with the spirit world, can determined if influences are coming from an individual's soul, outside, or both. They can also determine if it's an innocent attachment of like-mindedness, or a willing to harm someone - as in a curse.

In addition, if one's immediate reaction to something said (written) is a strong denial or a hateful rebuttal, that may be a sign that it's time to investigate; if one wants or is allowed to do so.

The question then would be: whose free will is going to be stronger?

Pride Goes Before A Fall

I had a dream this morning that I was yelling at a young woman sitting at a table with some others (my feelings were she was a member of Congress), because she had said something sarcastic to me about being unimportant (or something along those lines). The discussion had been on our current economy.

I told her that my background in bookkeeping/accounting, as well as my knowledge of past history, regarding economic topics, were more important then her just holding a position with little to no knowledge of this. That this attitude is what creates problems in our country. Too many have little knowledge of economics or our laws. But what's worse is when they show their ignorance with arrogance or judge another that's there to help.

Yes, I was a tad angry in the dream, because it's what I've seen for years with people being elected. They're going to change the country, or the world, but most are ignorant to many things and then get mad when anyone tries to advise.

When I was younger, I wouldn't dream of being so arrogant or acted as if I knew everything. Today, especially with the comments from some on social media, the idiocy, hubris, and arrogance that I see and sense is outrageous.

Afterwards, I started thinking about that saying, "pride goes before a fall" and that maybe this dream was a warning. Which is why I decided to write about it, because it's been on my mind ever since.

Welcome To Communism

The sad reality, today, is that many don't understand government control (overreach) until it's too late.

One day, we're living at home under our parent's rules and regulations... looking forward to moving out and making our own path in the world... making our own rules and regulations... only to find out the government rules and regulations has been in charge of nearly every inch of our life without knowing it.

Reality sets in and that's when we really grow up. Moving out didn't change much because we're now realizing the government has a stronger stranglehold on our freedom. We feel oppressed and rebellious.

But, rebelling will only last for a few years. That's because we will begin to go along with the restrictions and boundaries or we'll die and be released from them that way. You know... give me liberty or give me death? But, once we determine that going along is better than death, we'll now be easier to control when the noose is tightened with more restrictions and boundaries.

In fact, as we get older, we may even propose more restrictions and boundaries ourselves. Think not? Look at our current legislative body, they too were young once.

Slowly but surely, we replace individual responsibility, which may be more lenient and understanding, to group responsibility, which may be less lenient or understanding.

Government solving our problems has now become a problem. We, overtime, have empowered that entity as we reduced our own. By using our fears and needs to control us. Telling us we weren't capable of doing things ourselves. We were inadequate to understand or do what was necessary. Using key words or phrases to manipulate us into obedience.

Instead of us being responsible in contributing to whatever cause or charity we felt was needed, we now are taxed, and taxed some more, so they can do it for us instead. Instead of things like schools, infrastructure, or military, we see it trickling down into every part of our existence. Even when they've proven, over and over again, how they've misused and abused those funds and responsibilities.

But, like some weird hypnosis, we just keep believing that they have our best interests at heart. Until, one day, we're not only told what we can eat or drink but what we are allowed to think.

Welcome to Communism.

Perspectives

While watching Bad Boys 2, something was really noticeable to me about the movie. It was about a drug lord in Miami and had the typical blood and guts plus high speed chase entertainment. A little over the top for my taste but Will Smith and Martin Lawrence did give it some levity, occasionally.

However, what got my attention was the drug lord's attitude towards his mom and daughter versus a perceived enemy. It reminded me of the old mafia days where their women and children were kept out of "family" business. In the perspective of these women and children, who were treated with love and respect, they didn't see them as evil. Not so with their enemies, which is understandable.

This is why I feel we have such polarity in the United States (and other countries that have theirs), they are seeing what they are being told to see or what they choose to see.

I can't help but wonder if the mafia or drug lords' women knew the opposite perspective, even told that truth, but they turned a blind eye in order to protect what they had going for them or out of fear it might happen to them too.

I'm sure our politicians and media know how to feed into that mentality. Ignorance isn't bliss.

Which is why I'm glad my dad told me about the bank robbery perspective when I was a teen. He said the police have to listen to all the witnesses in order to form a conclusion... build up a case. Because they were all seeing things from their perspective. But each one felt it was the truth. Well, it was "their" truth,  because it was what they witnessed. Eventually, the police take all those puzzle pieces to put the puzzle together.

In regards to what any government or media "feeds" us as truth, don't forget the others who are witnessing things. You may see a benevolent situation, where others may see the opposite.

Or, there could be many truths to a situation. The side you choose is based on your perspective, which is why listening to other's perspective can give us a better understanding of any situation.

Like putting a puzzle together that has a thousand pieces, it often takes time to see the overall picture.

Suicides and Holidays

A few years ago, I was discussing suicide statistics around the holidays and, after recently watching this movie again, I decided to share it on my blog. This is what I wrote. 👇🏼

Apparently, from what I was reading earlier, the holiday time of a high suicide rate is a myth that won't go away. And, one of the biggest complaints about perpetuating this myth was blame on journalists. Hmmm....

Someone also suggested to why this myth won't go away was because it's premise has a grain of truth and the stories are meant to help people cope with the melancholy and nostalgia that some people experience at this time.

Now, that's not saying suicides don't occur during this time frame, only that, after more research, it seems to be less than other times. In 2017, the CDC ranked December as #12, with 117 suicides per day,  compared to August as #1, with 138 suicides per day.

But, as with any newer research creating fact changes, another report that I read said that it could be due to what was left out of other reports. For instance, in one area the locals attributed the increase in suicides due to the holiday season, but when researchers looked further into the issue they discovered the local petrochemical industry tended to lay a lot of people off around the holiday season. By understanding another cause it helped address it and work on preventing suicides, as opposed to simply blaming the holidays.

One article stated that they felt this myth began because of the movie It's A Wonderful Life. In the movie, George decides to commit suicide. It took a visiting angel, Clarence, to convince him otherwise by showing George what his town would be like if he never existed.

All I can add to this is what I felt during the holidays when I was younger. There were times I had such strong feelings of sorrow. But, reflecting on it, putting things in perspective, I came to a conclusion that it didn't add up, which is why I could shake it off. And, because of what I know today, it's easier to walk away from negative feelings.

Or... maybe, God sent me a Clarence to help me build a protective wall around my mind. 😇
